So proud of you, you have put the work in; therefore reaping the benefits :-)

Also adding in egg white when cooking makes it extremely creamy and boost the protein content :-)

I bring mine to a boil and then turn the heat down a little bit and cook it for five minutes - stirring a lot. Then I turn off the fire and cover it and let it sit for a few minutes. It's perfect every time - like everything I do. [/quote] <this> I usually add a dash of cold milk to loosen up the oats a bit...then add in…

Should read: It may help if you ate Carbs that DO NOT spike your insulin levels: white pasta, bread etc..try more wholegrain foods, complex carbs..this may help curb those cravings.

Hiya Lulu, I'm currently doing IF (my 2nd week now)...I stop eating at 8pm then break my fast at 2pm the following day. I have found the hunger is kept at bay. Before IF, I never ate until 12noon and stopped eating at 9pm ish...so the slight transition was easy. I eat around 1900 cals per day in my 6 hour window. It may…

You won't fail..."if the mind is willing then the body will follow". Plan what you eat and build it into your macros for the day. Dont have cheat days (your just kidding yourself), have what you want BUT in moderation. Don't pig out for the day or weekend, have the MEAL you want and enjoy it, BUT ensure that all your other…

Thank you for posting great vidoes and sharing the knowledge in such a succint manner. Happy Thanksgiving to you both :) :flowerforyou:

I'm 5'6 and 160lb. I lift heavy and eat between 1900-2100 cals. You really need to eat and fuel your body.

Give the body time to adjust. If your looking to gain muscle and lose fat, then eat at maintenance, you will gain a couple of pounds per month on maintenance but, will lose inches. Keep doing what your doing and ignore the scales. Workout & eat right and the body will do the rest.

Check out this forum...see what you think. You may be eating an inadequate amount of calories. Most people start at 1200 ( I did), We all need to eat above our BMR which, is always (IMO) higher than 1200: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/3834-eat-more-to-weigh-less
-
Your definitely not eating enough to fuel your workouts or sustain your BMR....your deficit is too great!

Feel free to add :-)

I'll be 40 in April....feel free to add :-)

Good looks are a lottery that you may get handed to you at birth but having a nice personality is something that has to be developed...however we are all special

Bump, thx

Congratulations...:-)

Meditate whilst listening to soothing music. I love to workout too, it releases a lot of pent up energy. Most of all try and think positively.....there is always someone worst off...if that helps.

I turn 40 next April....I had been trying to lose the same 24lbs for years (including pregnancy weight). I've lost the baby weight and I'm slimmer then before I was pregnant. I'm lifting heavier weights and doing HIIT 4_5 per week. The scale hasn't budged for months but I'm not concerned, it's never a true reflection of…

It looks as though you have been working hard for these results..IMO, you have lost inches off your hips & thighs. Well done...keep Lifting :-)
-
Well done.....amazing dedication!!
-
Feel free to add me.... You have done fabulously so far......I worked hard and will encourage you do the same (have your diary open too :))
-
IMO, PTs should practice what they preach UNLESS they are recovering from an injury and as a result got out of shape.
-
Fantastic achievement, you should be very proud. Ironically, we have lost the same weight too.... I'm aiming for 133lbs.
-
Hi, we'll done. I adore French food and when I'm there on holiday (I live in Jersey C.I.) I always put on about 2lbs.... You should be extremely proud. I will be adding you ;)
-
Well done.......keep up the good work :))

Eating relatively healthy but mostly sticking to a strict Lifting & Cardio regime and dropped my pregnancy gain of 38 lbs...since joining MFP I have only lost about 5lbs but have lost ALOT of inches. I now log my foods and monitor what I eat and have gone back to Lifting heavy.
