Hi people, good to see some Waikato locals and a familiar face in here Karina, its been awhile. @evie, are there any local markets you can go to? A great place to pick up well priced fruit and veg. Although good food can cost more think of it as saving on doctors bills later in life. Totally worth it

Thanks for all your responses. Interested to hear responses from any stay at home parents. I am trying the eat when Im hungry thing today rather than our usual meal times. Had a later breakfast this morn 8.30ish with kids, kids said they were hungry about 10.30 so got them a snack. My son was a little upset I wouldnt share…

i think i might try the eat when my body tells me im hungry. i think i'll find this hard though since the kids are always wanting me to share their food!

Wow! I'm usually starving for breakfast when I get up. I find that staying home with the kids we plan our meals based on time of day. ie morning tea around 10, lunch around 12pm afternoon tea 3ish and dinner 5pm ish - then snacking most evenings. was thinking about trying the eat when im hungry option and see if that works…

3rd june =21.1km or 13.1mile race total = 25.5km

4.4km walking today. running half marathon on sunday so that will be a good start to mileage for the month

im in. not sure what that is in kilometers but i am aiming for 100km's this month

i too am using hal hidgon's training plan -at least it is loosely based on this. i plan to run 10mile maximum before the half. look forward to hearing your progress and the run sounds like it is for a good cause
