I wouldn't do a "Cleanse" my own body is capable of that but I do get some cold pressed fresh juices locally if I'm feeling a bit sluggish. They certainly seem like a shot in the arm some days. No intention of living off them.

I let my apple watch do all the tracking if it's just steps. sends it just fine to MFP

I got one for an early Christmas present. So far I've done three cheesecakes (didn't eat them all) , chicken stock, pulled pork, baby back ribs. Tonight I'm doing a smoked salmon risotto. There's a really good instant pot community on Facebook.

I made a deal with myself to only have wine on weekends while trying to lose. A lifestyle that doesn’t allow wine can suck it

I thought it was just fruit that couldn't be blended...ie a smoothy, not an actual recipe. Here's the recipe I was referring to. https://www.skinnytaste.com/lentil-bowls-with-avocado-eggs-and-cholula/

I believe the new minimum is 23 points a day and you can carry 4 over. On Facebook yesterday, Skinnytaste posted a revised recipe under the new plan, it was around 350 calories but now only 2 smart points. and those two points were the avocado, take that out and add a chicken breast and you're looking at close to 400…

I'm positive on the list I have smoked fish is included as being Zero. Here's the list https://www.weightwatchers.com/us/sites/default/files/freestyle_zero_points_foods.pdf

Skinnytaste is great for ideas.

Well that's incentive. Sure it's doable. Lots of work and dedication and not much cheating but it's only 4 weeks.
-
I sadly find it can but will work itself out. It's not so much the calories it's the salt and retaining water that affects the scale for me for days after.
-
But look how far you've come. You're not a size 22 anymore. You're a normal 12/14. You absolutely can lose weight again you just have to get your head back into it. Small steps, 1/2 pound a week.
-
Yeah, I'd have a heart attack if we spent $900 on groceries. We eat very well and I spend about $450 a month for two of us. Costco is my best friend :)
-
I just dropped from 1450 to 1400 this week and eat about half of my exercise calories.
-
Yes please

Thanks - I got the Sport Watch yesterday. Loving it!! Feels so strange though to not wear my fitbit for the first time in years.
-
I have to give 30 days notice to cancel. It's $50 to sign back up but January and September they always have specials to waive the joiner fee. No long term contract
-
what model do you guys recommend? is the sports version enough?
-
$63 a month. Pool, hot tub, steam room, Zumba, Pilates, Yoga, and a tons of other classes all included. It's right next door to my office so it doesn't get much more convenient.

I have a friend who just went back onto Dr. B. She lost 75 pounds about 2 years ago and some has crept back on. We went out for dinner on Saturday night, man, I felt bad for her. Her face had no colour...well I guess Grey is a colour. Special ordered her dinner (nothing wrong with that) but she could only have green…

I refuse to do 1,200. It's too low to be sustainable for me and I'd rebel. I need to eat like a human and socialize. Plus seeing as this is long term and not a quick fix I won't be giving up my wine :) I stick to 1,450 and eat back my fitbit calories. Down 8.5 in January

Tablespoon of peanut butter

Probably sugar withdrawal. It will pass

^^ ^^ This. Don't eat all MFP gives you from your fitbit. Stick to around 75% and you'll be fine.
-
Weight watchers is designed to give you a lower daily amount of points so that have a couple of pieces of fruit and veg won't put you over. MFP is not designed that way. MFP gives you a total amount of calories for the day. Track everything! Two/three pieces of fruit can easily equal a chocolate bar.
-
Make sure you're not eating too much "Diet" food. Get rid of the low fat/non fat stuff and you'll get to your 1,200 calories pretty quick.
-
Thanks. I'll look into the sync solver mentioned above.
-
I have this issue too. Does MFP send the calories from your fitbit steps into Apple health?
-
I prefer MFP for a lot of the reasons already listed here..but somepeople need the support of meetings, if you do, then WW would probably be better for you.
-
I've always found it better (for me) to have my calories set higher and be happy what I'm doing and be able to stick to it rather than dropping to the absolute minimum of 1,200 calories and constantly feeling like I'm on a diet. This is not a short term fix, you need something you can live with and sustain. I have mine set…

This thread makes me so sad. With all the good nutritional information out there and information on fueling your body people still insist on starving themselves to lose weight :( And there's at least one of these a week.
