I definitely want to be a hot wife but I also want to be strong and healthy to be able to play with my boys and be around for them for a long time in an active way. I have autoimmune rheumatoid problems, and I am refusing to let it keep me down!

I've been eating them for a couple of months now. I don't use a full serving...I guess they help me feel full. I also feel right now like I've been healthier with more energy. I haven't been getting a lot of good sleep lately, and I usually immediately get sick when this happens, but I've been feeling pretty decent...

I love them, not doing very heavy yet, but I'll get there!!

BeginnerTriathlete.com is an amazing resource! When I did my first triathlon, i joined a training group on there and it was great to have someone focused on a small group of us who would help to support and encourage and answer all questions... I also read Slow Fat triathlete, it helped to convince me that I could do it. I…

As someone said, try the sugar free coffeemate, also yogurt is one you have to watch super closely...you should look for one that has 7 grams of sugar or less, which is very hard to find, fiber one yogurt is one that is lower sugar...

You have to be careful with what and how much of something you put in your body. I loved muscle milk & had it everyday 2 years ago, however, I ended up really sick, with just about all of the issues listed in the Consumer Reports article, and the problem was heavy metal overload & my kidneys were failing. You can all say…

I'll try, I'd love to add in some extra challenges!!

2 summers ago, I was drinking muscle milk a lot, and I really liked it, however I ended up having a lot of problems, many of which were cited in a consumer reports article. Many of the drinks have a lot of heavy metals in them, and Muscle milk had the highest. Maybe they have improved the levels since then... I like almond…

I like working out in the morning as well. I don't get up quite as early as you however!!! I work out at home, but I am up before everyone else, it's nice & quiet and I can focus. I've had a hard time the last few days however because my 6 yo son has had sleeping issues and is up several times a night wanting me in his…

I'm thinking of giving up all white carbs and sweets...I love candy, cupcakes, anything sweet! I was good from when I started MFP on Jan 2 until my birthday Feb 5, then I've been downhill since then, my son's bday was yesterday. But, there are no more bdays, and Lent is here, so it's time to cut it again!!

I would say yes. I know with things like cholesterol, eating badly the night before can effect it, so eating really well for these past months should have really positive results...

Made these last night, they were AWESOME!! Thanks for sharing the recipe!! Even my husband liked them!

Hell yeah!!! :-)

I'm going to be good all day so I can have some super yummy Belgian truffles this evening!!!

Awesome!! Congratulations!!

You will get there!!! I was thinking a couple things, low carb definitely works, I have switched to quinoa pasta, which is actually really good; if I have rice it's brown, or I make quinoa with low sodium chicken or veg broth... As kerri said, interval training really works, it helps to burn the fat/calories...also do you…

This is killing me!! I bought a bunch of boxes from my neighbor - and now I'm gluten free!!! And I've been really good about staying on track, it's going to make me scream when they arrive!!!

Great information! Thanks for posting. I don't have Fibro, but I have a rare autoimmune rheumatoid disease that I've had for 20 years. I've tried lots of different things over the years, but just as of Jan 2 have tried cutting gluten. Haven't really noticed change in pain or fatigue but am less bloated...

Ordered some today to try, thanks again!

Thanks, I'll check it out!!

Thank you all for your amazing stories, thoughts & ideas! I have definitely tried many things over the 20 years since I was diagnosed. The disease I have is called Eosinophilic Fasciitis, it is similar to scleroderma, but it is very rare, and i don't follow any pattern at all, so it's hard to know what's to come. Every day…
