No. Keep doing what your doing. The majority of what you lost in the beginning was water weight. Weight loss is slowing down now as its supposed to. As long as you are losing weight you're doing good :)
-
Could be water weight, could be daily fluctuations. Again, great job on taking advice and upping your calories :)
-
How long have you been on this? For some people it takes a couple weeks to see any change on the scale unfortunately
-
Have you started a new workout routine? It is more than likely water retention or normal fluctuations and will come off in due time :)

Technically you could eat back 50-75% of those calories and still be in the same deficit. The biggest thing to remember is, the bigger the deficit, the more lean muscle mass you will lose.
-
How many calories is mfp giving you?
-
You're grossing 2200-2400 calories a day. Your Net calories are much lower than that. Hence the 3.5lb average weekly weight loss. Also, for any lurkers on this thread, this is NOT a healthy or sustainable rate of loss. Also, this:
-
How many pounds are you looking to lose a week? And are you using the mfp method or tdee method? Either way, 1000 calorie a day deficit is a 2lb/wk loss (which I assume you are at a much larger deficit, hence the 3.5lb average loss)

This is true for me as well , although I prefer coke cherry zero
-
.5 lbs a week to minimize lean muscle loss :)

They should automatically save into your recent/frequent food database

^^^This, for me x1000

Nothing wrong with diet soda :) Many people on here have lost a significant amount of weight while still enjoying diet soda.

My general rule is don't go more than two days without exercise, if you want to exercise. Also, you never did answer the questions that I have bolded.
-
OK. As long as it is working for you now that's fine. But you do know scales are insanely cheap right? Like $15-20
-
I did Insanity a while back and felt the exact same way you did. I did 2 months of Insanity and only lost 6 pounds. That was before I got a kitchen scale. Turns out I was underestimating my calories I was taking in. I would recommend counting calories and buying a kitchen scale. If you are actually eating in a deficit, you…

I seeem to either gain a pound and a half or I maintain for about two weeks, then after its done the weight comes off. It sucks, but if you start tracking your weight around that time (and around ovulation, which is when I usually gain) it is incredibly predictable.
-
So what about this event is so imperative that you lose 15lbs in two weeks? Sorry to be Debbie downer, but you're probably not going to lose 15lbs in 2 weeks (you shouldve started sooner) and you're probably not going to get much (if any) support, as this mode of weight loss is extremely unhealthy.
-
Gotcha, thanks :)
-
Can I ask you to explain further? You seem to be very knowledgeable about weight loss and maintenance and I would like to hear what you have to say :)
-
This is true
-
Also, do you have a fitbit or a HRM with a chest strap? These will give you a more accurate reading of how many calories your actually burning.
-
Best of luck to you!! ❤
-
Ahhh I see :) thank you for clarifying :)
-
Really?? OP, you are probably underestimating how many calories you are taking in, since 'eyeballing ' our food is what got most of us to where we are right now...overweight or obese. Weigh and log everything, THAT is what will get you out of your plateau ...not a fad detox
-
I've had to do this too. You'll need to go on to the actual web page and delete old entries (assuming you've had an account in the past and now are at a higher weight)
-
Ahhh..gotcha :)
-
Op, you will not gain muscle while eating at a deficit. I do agree to take measurements , as you could be losing inches and sometimes water weight can mask that
-
Its fine to eat sweets as long as it fits into your calorie allowance, does not matter what time you eat them :)
