Have you tried to drink it? If you answered yes to this question than you would know that this drink is absolutely disgusting...i literally almost puked after one big gulp of it. I mean, maybe if you plugged your nose while drinking it you MIGHT be able to stand the taste...but then again..wheres the fun in that? All in…

I do a form of IF and it works for me. I don't eat breakfast, but I do drink coffee and that usually keeps me satiated until lunch time. Like others have said, some can do it, some can't. I think all in all, it's all about finding your niche...or a way of eating that works for YOU and that you can work with long term.…

No. The only way to prevent yo-yoing is to take the word 'diet' out of your vocabulary and make this a life style change :) best of luck!

My tip: 1) Get a food scale and weigh everythingeverything you intake. If it's solid, weigh it..if it's liquid measure it with a measuring cup. 2) If you're not losing weight, you're not in a deficit 3)It is VERY easy to grossly underestimate both portion sizes and calories...hence, the food scale :) 4) You can't out…

with as little that you have to lose...0.5lbs a week should be your goal. so in the grand scheme of things, looks like you're right on track :) keep going, weigh and log everything..you'll get there

Your activity level is basically how active you are without exercise. So basically any exercise you do is 'extra'. I have mine set to sedentary and I also have negative adjustments enabled as well because I like to get those extra calories throughout the day if I'm more active than mfp expects I'll be

I don't know if I worded my OP correctly. Yes, I have to switch up my workout routine so I don't get bored. But I guess what I'm really asking is....I always heard that you need to switch up your workout routine so that you always burn the maximum amount of calories, is there any truth to this?
-
Wait, I have a fitbit And it tells me I burned that much while on the elliptical for aabout 35-40 mins...granted I do weigh 255lbs. But I've been wearing it for about a month so it has to be correct right?
-
Wow! That is amazing! So inspiring!
-
I've heard people say this before. Perfectly normal for some people to weigh less at night than in the morning
-
I've had mine for about 3 weeks now (not long I know) but it seems to be fairly accurate based on the weight I've lost thus far. If you link it up to mfp, it will keep track of your HR and calories burned throughout the day, and also when exercising. I always turn mine on to "exercise mode" when exercising, only cause it's…

Hi. You sound like you could be my twin. We should be friends
-
Lots of issues with fitbit and MFP. Just gotta be patient, they are usually pretty good about fixing it that same day
-
Use a digital scale. You can get them almost anywhere, they are relatively inexpensive. ..about $20. Using measuring cups for solids is just not accurate. Measuring cups are for liquids only! Use a digital scale for ALL solids. Based on what you've said so far, I almost garuantee you are either taking in too many calories,…

100% this ^^^. I've done it, and loved it, but I'm also the kind of person that if I'm not dripping sweat when I'm done with a workout, it's not good enough. Another thing to add to this ...really listen to Shaun T about how to do the exercises or you could easily get hurt. It's a lot of jumping so it can be very hard on…
-
Yup, looks like it has. Thank you very much!
-
Ahhh..ok:) Makes sense..Thank you!
-
I'm the same way :( don't know why, and it kinda sucks but oh well.. At least I'm losing outside that time :)
-
OK, thank you!!

You can go on the site and go to my home, then check in, then click on "edit previous entries" I think that's how you do it. Let me know if it doesn't work for ya :)
-
You can eat whatever you want..just make sure it fits into your calories. I think that's why I failed so many times before was because I was restricting my self way too much...this time (since I'm more educated) things seems sooo much easier!
-
Its better to learn to eat the things you like in moderation, than to give them completely up . you're not going to give them up forever right? Don't beat yourself up :) food is food. If you enjoyed those chips, and they fit into yoir calories, that's all that matters

+1

If you say you can lose 14lbs In one month, then do it..why do you need us? Many people have told you many different ways it's possible, but not remotely healthy. What more do you want? Let us know how it works out for ya Best of luck!

Meh, I wouldn'ti have way too many people selling It works! And beachbody stuff and all that junk. I cannot imagine the amount of ridiculous advice and tips I would get Not to mention the "buy this, buy that!" Not worth it to me
-
Shoot, I'm still obese and even for me the scale doesn't move every week. It sucks, but it's the overall downward trend that you have to pay attention to. Patience is key. Slow and steady wins the race :)
-
Yes please do. :)
-
You should be eating at around the 1650 mark to maintain your weight
-
What are your stats? Weight? Height? How many days a week do you exercise?
-
What are your maintenence calories? If you are at your goal weight, you should be eating at your maintenance. If I'm not mistaken you will put on some initial weight, but it's jut water and should come off when your body gets used to it
