Exercise
I was always told that you should change up your workout routine so that your body doesn't get "used to" your workout routine. Is there any truth to this?

For those of you more experienced fitbit users. How accurate would the fitbit calories burned be for, say, Insanity or like just Dance for wii. I have a charge HR and wondering for days I can't make it to the gym.

I have a fitbit, and I have it linked to my fitness pal. I just got done working out, and burned 400 calories (according to fitbit ) but it's not showing up in my exercise calories on here. Do I need to manually add them or leave it alone? Thanks!

once fat, always fat
Taking an excerpt out of one of the big posts trending on here right now (the one about the 800lb man getting kicked out of the hospital), somebody posted a story on that thread about a girl who was very large and lost some weight but not in the healthy way. Anyways, basically what she said was that most people who start…

cutting down pounds per week near goal weight?
Ok, so this may be kinda silly but hear me out. So I've heard of people when they first start their weight loss journey, set their loss per week low (.5-1lb per week) so as to not to get burnt out and to give them a little more calories to work with. So my question is this: would that work for when I get closer to my goal…

This may be a really stupid question, but its one I've been wondering about. How many calories do you have to consume to gain a pound? I know its 3500 calories to gain or lose a pound...but like if I consume 3500 calories in one day will I gain a pound? Or would I have to take in 3500 calories above, like, my maintenance?

reconfiguring calorie goals
I've lost almost 9 pounds so far and I've heard a few people say to recalculate your calorie goals every ten pounds or so. Do I need to do that, or does MFP do it for you? Thanks!
