If I go into nutrition, and under the weekly tab it says that I'm X amount of calories above/below calorie goal. What does this mean?

MFP gives you a calorie goal for the day. If you're trying to lose weight, this calorie goal will have a deficit built in (if you're trying to gain weight, it will be a surplus -- and if you're maintaining, it will be a goal to maintain). The weekly goal is simply letting you know how much you are over/below the goal for the past rolling seven days.
If you're being told, for example, that you are 500 calories below goal, that means you logged 500 fewer calories over the past seven days than MFP had for your goal.0 -
OK, that makes sense. Thanks!0
