Member since 2012 but I haven't been logging seriously on this app since 2017. A lot has changed with the community section of this website but I just stumbled (more like fumbled) upon this post and looking for active users with similar goals for 2023. I have about 40 to lose to get back to 2017 but short term goals would…

As usual, I spend the final days of the year trying to get organized and get ready to take down the Christmas decorations and put away the gifts the family has received. This unfortunatly leads me once again to the piles of jeans I have in my closet. I get to rummage through them probably three times a year. Mind you, only…

The only sure way to know is to purchase a heart rate monitor that will keep track of calories burned. I have the same dilemma.

Stoner/dirtball. Boy did I enjoyed those carefree days! Its funny how people from HS friend me on facebook and with many of them I have to wonder why age (and in some cases life) hasn't treated them so kind. >sigh< well I'm off to get my daily six mile run in. Change.. what I had for breakfast 27 years ago!

To solve this injustice I will soon offer a 13" at the 12" price... although I am still working on stretching an 8" sub to the 13" length. To remain cost effective of course...

I hate to discourage anyone from going to the gym but I just shake my head and want to tell these type of people to stop wasting their time. I bet these people complain that they spend a lot of money on the membership but don't get any results.. I WONDER WHY >eyeroll<

Hi Mel, Two things I HIGHLY recommend (that helped me in my first round of weight loss a year ago) are a HRM and a food scale. If you use these two things for all of your exercises and all of your food intake you will have the most accurate information to put into MFP. Both of them were an huge eye opener for me about how…

Let me first say that it is evident from the responses that everyone is different. I was drawn to this post because I heard about a diet based on the phrase "Eat like a King, a Prince and a Pauper". Which basically means eat your biggest meal in the morning, a medium size meal for lunch and a small dinner. I, like you,…

Yes you were! LOL

All I can say is that you know you are doing it right when the responses don't make sense and then stop for two minutes.

Hi Megan, Welcome to MFP. While I agree it takes self motivation I have developed a great group of friends on here who have helped with humor, motivation, knowledge and support. I'll put an add request out there and you are welcome to take it to help you along!
