I've done WW and Slimming World. Personally I think MFP is better as it teaches you about real values of food i.e. calories. You can't live on points or syns for life, it's not teaching you anything. Everyone is different, but I think calorie counting is the best (and oldest) method!

lemon or lime juice. Cuts straight through it!

3 tsp in a tbsp (5ml/15ml). However I would recommend weighing it as a tsp/tbsp is very innaccurate for things as dense as honey.

Cooee!!! *Waves*. From Durham. I log everyday and love to chat and have a nosy in diaries  . I need people that talk!

On your your phone or tablet there is a progress section that shows you the last three months. Not sure on the web site though

apple sauce and cinnamon or with chilli jam on crackers. Or added into a protein shake for extra protein and thickness :-)

As youAs you said, do whatever works best for you. I'm 5'3 and also eat 1500 calories. I'm doing ok so far plus I don't get cranky or miserable (most of the time!). I also enjoy things like a bar of chocolate or a drink. It's all about adapting for life, not dieting. :drinker:

I started at 23.6 stone in Jan 2012. You can do this!

Hi I'm from the NE England. Been doing this for about a year. I log every day and exercise when I can. Feel free to add me if you like a chat :-)

Never been thin :blushing: . I was a big baby (10lb plus), a chubby child, an overweight teenager and obese adult. I can't imagine how good it will feel when I'm finally slim

If you are peeing all the time and it is clear, then you are probably drinking too much. However I'm not sure what impact that would have on weight loss. Rule of thumb is drink for thirst and remember that a lot of foods (especially vegetables) contain a lot of water also.

I'm 5'3 and my current goal weight is 10st (140lbs). However I have quite a broad frame so I may stop earlier than that. Or I may decide to lose a little more. It all depends on how I look/feel when I get closer. Have your 80lb goal in mind, but start with smaller goals and see how you feel along the way :-) Feel free to…

NE England here! I'm a sarcastic little moo though
-
I'd still rather copy their recipe exactly than eat a ready meal.
-
At least you get to control what you put in home cooked meals. Home cooking over ready meals any day of the week
-
Thanks for the add. Anyone else is free to add me too. Best of luck :-)
-
Yo! 27 from the NE. Feel free to add :-)

I started at 328 lbs. I walked and played Dance Central. Then I jogged for a bit. Now I'm at the gym at least three times a week for about an hour doing various cardio and strength. As everyone else has said, start small and pick things you enjoy :-) best of luck!

UK here (Durham). I'm on here pretty much all the time. I've still a long way to go (At least 100lbs left to lose) so long hauls buddies are great. Feel free to add me (anyone). x Here's to success!
