I would add 700 calories and call it good. Mexican food can be very high calories.

Just log everything, and do your best. In a few weeks you will know if you are being accurate. The most important thing is just to keep track of what you are eating.

If I hate to log the food( i.e. all that Halloween candy), I just add up all the calories and add it under snacks. Then, I hit the "if every day were like today...." button to see the damage. I still count it though, it does keep me motivated.

The deficit needed to lose one pound a week is 500 per day, so just select maintenance and eat within your calorie limit. That should work until you lose some weight, then you will have to lower the maintenance weight. Does this seem right?
