Great job! I was also under my calorie goal today (and yesterday), and had a horrible weekend. I didn't even log my food Friday-Sunday. But I'm back to it now. Keep it up!

That's awesome!

A blue tarp? Ok, Only Kidding! But I'm anxious to see what others offer as suggestions.

Congrats! Glad it's working for you!

Awesome! Congrats!

I am also in the process of giving them up. All pop, as a matter of fact. I don't think I've had one since last Friday, so I'm almost a week into the soda-free me! I'm trying to get myself drinking more water, but it's kind of a hassle at work, so that's a work in progress, too.

Ok....you rock! I'm not sure I'm up for a marathon, but would like to do a 5K at some point.

I finished Week1 on Friday, and I started Week 2 tonight. I know that we're supposed to take a day off in between, but Tuesday just won't work for a workout for me, and we're going out of town Weds-Sat morning, so I kind of want to do day 2 tomorrow. This is my 3rd round of this program (although I've yet to finish it), so…

I did W1D1 tonight. I do it on a treadmill, and I'm a s-l-o-w jogger, but that's OK -at least I'm moving! I started with 3.3 for the brisk walk and 4.5 for the run. I must have made it to week 6 last time I did it- I only had weeks 6-9 in my iPod, so I was glad I had my phone with me and had downloaded the NHS (?) one that…

Congrats! Keep up the great work!

I'll start tonight! I started it just under 2 years ago the first time. Got to week 6 maybe? I'm going on a cruise in 4 weeks, so it would be good to get off my couch and get moving!

Fantastic results! You look great! I have no doubt you'll make it to your final goal!

Interesting. You'd think at some point the general public would realize that the only safe and sustainable way to lose weight and keep it off long-term isn't a pill....it's paying attention to what we eat, and exercising. It's all about lifestyle changes and education.

Welcome! What would you like to know?

My wellness coach was talking about 3500 calories is a pound. So, over the course of a week, you want to have a 3500 calorie deficit (or more). How long have you been eating 1200 cal/day and working out 3-4 times a week? How has your weight loss been so far?

I went to our local Running Room store and had them watch me walk to determine the best shoe for me for running/walking. Do you have a Running Room or another type of running store close by? That might be a good idea. I've worn one brand of shoes for most of my life, and found out they're not what I should be wearing.

Kristin - I'm not sure why she poopoo'd it. They're not 'selling' anything, so it wasn't that. And yes, I have the chest strap also. Obviously I know that looking on a chart in a book or on a website for calories burned for xxx exercise is just an estimate, but I figured that since we configured it with my height and…

I made Devil's Food cupcakes with Diet Coke today for pot luck and they were super yummy! I frosted them with lite cool whip. 1 cupcake is a serving * Calories 160 Calories from Fat 25 * Total Fat 2.5g 4% * Saturated Fat 1g 5% * Trans Fat 0g * Cholesterol 0mg 0% * Sodium 330mg 14% * Total Carbohydrate 35g 12% * Dietary…

I agree with Tracy. It's activity....yes.....a workout....not necessarily. It really depends on what you do. I really get my heart rate up doing the rhythm boxing, but that's probably one of the only ones that raises my heart rate.

Hi Katie!

Thank you - I needed that! Posted a 2# GAIN this week, and have some dining out and lack of workout opportunities this coming week - I just need to AAO and plow on through.
