I am in! Great idea! Although I have to have foot surgery and won't be able to exercise the lower body for 2 weeks (11th - 31st) I would like to do it up til then! During recovery it will help keep me on track. So excited!!

My plan is to exercise in the morning and take a relaxing shower. Get dressed and make sure I am eating a nice normal breakfast, drink lots of water and enjoy my coffee. I am allowing myself extra calories in moderation on Thursday only.

Your story is so motivating. And I feel the same way: enjoy family, enjoy food but have a limit. It's not a free for all but an opportunity to indulge a bit while still feeling good about yourself. The best way for me to do that I think, is to exercise while the turkey is cooking. I will get my 2-3 mile walk in,…

Oh, Okay. Not doing the lower body workout today. Tired. The fibromyalgia says "enough" But I did walk up the hill! :-)
-
I walked up our hill. It is VERY steep and I burned 99 cals in 14 min. There is a lot of snot when you walk outdoors in the cold! Plus, I am trying a Toning DVD: Leslie Sansone Shortcuts Lower Body Workout. *still drinking the 8 glasses + per day!

CW:184.9 GW:182 Weigh in dates: 11/1:187.9 11/8:184.9 11/15: 11/22: How's your goal NSV (None Scale Victory) coming along? Great! My NSV was only one cheat day a week. But, I have modified that to eat when hungry (even if you go over) BUT aim for healthier foods when you do. And eat at 15-20% below TDEE. PS: I am sure I…

Okay! Good day to start. Gotta get rid of the Halloween Candy Bulge I earned this month. Packed up all the candy and "hid" it from myself. Got my water bottle and am ready: 4 cups down + 4 to go!

Nice to meet you! I keep forgetting about the groups I belong to! I am not able to try Jillian yet: too advanced! Lol But, I will get there someday!
-
Good for you! I hope you got the break you needed. Are you back at it this week? I am going to do a Thanksgiving Challenge using walking videos. I am part of another group created just for that. Check it out in the groups! Today I am using my Leslie Walk Boost Cables today. You put your foot in them like stirrups and hold…

Thanks for creating the group! I really need something to motivate me and hold me accountable with all this Halloween candy around and all this baking I am doing for the Fall Season! Looking forward to Day 1 on Thursday! Starting my exercise today though. One thing a day: whether it's a 1 mile, 2-3 mile DVD or…

I looooove Trick r Treat!! Also, Halloween and Halloween H20.

Me too! Do you want to get this group going or would you rather just log on your own? Just curious. We have so many options to log! There is her website, this one and now I have a fitbit too.
-
Yes! BUMP! I love that website too! Thanks girls for the great advice on this post. :-)
-
OH ! Thanks so much! I am going to start going to the gym and this is very helpful. I am just so smushy in the back area (well everywhere really- lol) and this is very helpful. :-)

Hi there, I am starting over too. Been slacking lately. I got sick and then I got lazy and it just kept going downhill from there. So, no more excuses and getting back on track with my food logging and staying "tuned in" to MFP and my pals. This site really works but you got to use it! Lol. I wish you good luck: you can do…

Love these! Thanks for sharing!

Also, do you think you could convert this to a crock pot recipe?
-
Sounds great! Is it very spicy? I am trying to cook more Vegan dishes and my bf loooves spice. I am clueless about spices. Lol.

Tinkerbelz: I have heard of the wonders of coconut oil and I also dry brush my skin to get rid of cellulite and it has helped. I am going to try the coconut oil both eating it and for hair and skin. I also am going to try Mama Mio products. I have their body scrub and body oil. I am going to try the stretch mark/skin…

No. I have the opposite problem (though I just started so...give it time). I lost 10lbs and look in the window while window shopping and say to myself: "are you kidding me? I am *that* fat?". Gotta start somewhere though...lol.

Wow, such great tips! I am looking up the body brushing now. I am going to try to get a dry brush and see if that helps. I will try to incorporate yoga and walking as soon as I am able to get about (had foot surgery and am non-bearing right now). My Dr. keeps trying to put me on Prozac but I am afraid it will make me fat…
