VARIETY! Every few weeks change exercises, routines, or reps/sets. If you feel that you could push out a few more reps than def increase the weight!

How my clothes fit for sure. The feeling of pants squeezing to the point that your stomach overflows just plain SUCKS!

Oh I weigh myself every day also :) Like you, I have figured out my pattern. I meant that for others it may be discouraging to see a gain even if it is normal. I am not saying I am not thinking "damn!" when I see the scale up 5 lbs, but I know it is normal.

I have eaten oatmeal every single day for the past 3 years or so. In my opinion, it is truly one of thebest breakfast foods besides eggs :) I buy weight control and mix in flaxseed. Plus it is something I could eat 20 times a day ha!

Multi V Fish Oil Vitamin D Lysine (for skin and lips) I also use a scoop of Whey after I workout and Flaxseed in the morning mixed with my oatmeal.

You can work out anytime. The best time is when you feel the most energetic!

Go by how your clothes feel. The scale is always fluctuating so it may discourage you. If I eat a sh*tload one day, the scale will seriously go up like 7 lbs and go down 7 lbs within the next 2 days. Or you could always get it measured by a professional :)

I hear ya and it sucks! I go through phases where it seems like everyday I feel tired. I actually posted a similar topic on here ha! Try vitamin D, a multi-vitamin, and fish or salmon oil. Also, you could try a fiber supplement to ger rid of the nasty waste! (gross I know but true!)

South Beach is a step up from Atkins I believe. It at least allows more types of food such as fruit!

Without vitamin D you can def tell a difference in mood and energy level.

I know exactly how you feel! I despise the days that I feel sluggish!! I am a coffee drinker and sometimes that does not help because my body is used to it. I take the correct vitamins but still feel tired some days even with 8 hrs of sleep. I think it can depend on the day, your mood, and maybe the food you consumed. This…

Good post. I just don't know where to add more food!! I eat 4-5 times a day and try to get the necessary foods for each meal.

I do not track every tiny thing haha. I hardly do my food journals. I did one yesterday and can't believe it said I should eat more! I eat 5 times a day! I believe it will help to track but I don't think one bite will do total damage!

I would like to start trying your split. I have always done shoulders with chest and triceps but it's a *****!! I could probably get more out of my workouts by making shoulders their own day. Right now my chest and shoulders ache!
