I must have bypassed all the other stages.

There's a stage somewhere in there for most women that involves pursuing MFP crushes and posting suggestive profile pictures. Especially for those women on their "I just got divorced, time to get skinny" mission.

1. I started lifting, but not counting calories for a few months and lost no pounds but a TON of inches. I'd say this went on for at least three months. Then when I started counting calories and incorporating more cardio (I went from just a 5 minute warm up run to 20 minutes, and some days would do more, depending) I…

I have the exact same problem. No matter my fitness level or weight, I have a hard time with breathing. I had asthma as a kid too, but doubt I still have it. At one point I was running 5k every morning 5+ mornings a week for a couple months. Good days would be about a 10:00 pace, bad days a 12 minute mile pace. But no…

This is exactly what I would do. Thanks for pointing out that it's not sustainable! Also, TONS of water. For all the people saying she won't gain muscle, let's not ignore the swell that you get from lifting, that can last a while, in my case at least.

I've always been muscular, but before I would exercise to lose weight and the muscles would show up and look nice. Now that I work the muscles to get them stronger and lift heavy you can tell a huge difference. Personally, I love it. The stomach has always been my biggest struggle, and it's still major work in process.…

My goal has always been a flat stomach. Even when I lose weight, that's the elusive 'it will never happen' area. I feel like this all the time. Sometimes you just have to trust the process and keep going. I love my body and I treat it well, flat stomach or not. That's how I know I'll get it someday. Losing weight in the…

Sounds like it could be psoriasis. There are certain creams/gels just for that, but I'm pretty sure they all require a prescription. I would go see your doctor.

I get made fun of for it sometimes, but I work legs a ton too. My routine is: Leg Day Upper Body Day Either Ab Day or Full Body HIIT Day (Repeat and start with Legs again) So I do full heavy legs every two days. And (mostly) body weight leg circuits as part of the full body day. But even on the non-leg days I might do…

I have this same problem. I can run for 40 minutes (slowly like you) with no problem outside, but I'm hard pressed to run 5 minutes on a treadmill. I breath faster, I stomp hard on the treadmill, it all makes me very self conscious and so much harder to keep going! That said, I run pretty flat footed which I don't think is…

I had asthma when I was little (second grade or so) but it hasn't really been a problem for me personally. I do notice that no matter the physical shape I'm in, I will ALWAYS breathe excessively heavy, however. Even just a brisk walk can leave me somewhat short of breath, and it's almost always been that way. Even when I…

To the OP, my slow internet connection here made your mug 100% better. See, it was loading slowly from top to bottom. So after a while I thought to myself "Oh, it's a stupid cow mug. Boring.". But then the udders loaded. And I nearly lost it.

I saw this earlier, pretty amazing. I was surprised AT ALL to hear she was a gymnast though. That **** was made for gymnasts.

No, but now I will.
