I think everyone does it a little differently. There is no right or wrong way to do it as long as you are consistent in what you do. I have myself set to 25 carbs but go by net carbs not total carbs.

Hello ladies! I was thinking about ordering this program while it's on sale. I still have about 100 pounds to lose. Would this be a good program? I really like lifting. I'm currently doing p90x3 and I like it a lot. I've done a few rounds of CLX and LMP as well. I get my cardio from swimming and running.

Invest in a good pair of running shoes. Like, go to a store that specializes in running and have them fit you for proper shoes for your gait. Prepare to invest $100-130 on said shoes. Next, go back to square one. Go with a running program that builds gradually like Couch to 5k. There are a ton of apps for it if you have a…

My difference b/w my before and during in my profile picture is 5lbs. I truely attribute my success to lifting. Thank you so much everyone for the inspiration to continue. You all gave me a huge lady boner

Ditto this. I am an RN in a very busy emergency department. I literally do not sit down unless it is to pee or shove food in my face. If I take 5 minutes to eat just an apple or just some sort of fruit, I'm going to be super hungry again in 20 minutes. If I have that piece of fruit with some cheese, cottage cheese, or…

It's very simple. Eat less, move more. And unwrap your head from the number on the scale. It's only a small representation of everything going on with your body. It represents your relationship with gravity. That's it.

You appear to be quite adventurous!

I'm a mother, runner, wife, RN. Any of you may add me for support and general merryment.

I swear by body glide. JC Penney had some CUTE CUTE CUTE running shorts in their plus sized section. Old Navy online has some decent plus sized stuff. Whatever you do, do not wear cotton.

Thanks everyone for your input.

@tm- I love your profile pic. Great smile :)

IMO there is a fine line between healthy and sickly looking. For me, at 5'6 and an large frame, anything below 145 looks terrible.

I finished c25k before my first race. I could not finish the 3.2 distance in 30 minutes. I still can't. I run a 15 minute mile right now. You will not be last. Just do it! If you have to take some walk breaks, so be it. All that matters is that you are out there doing it.

I never had that problem with oatmeal before. Last week I was in a hurry so I stopped and McD's and got their oatmeal (and it's been MONTHS since I've had oatmeal in any form) and got HORRIBLE gas pain from it.

I just finished a round of this exact hybrid. I lost 30 lbs and 28 inches all over. I'm getting ready to do a CE/Insanity hybrid next.
-
I just ran my first 5k on the 26th. I ran it in 50:09. I walked some and I'm ok with that. I've only been running since the end of March.

Thank you!

Eventually I would like to increase my mileage. Right now I'd like to work on establishing a better base and getting a little faster.

Thanks. I have a c25k app on my phone that I really like. IDK what I'm going to do. I might repeat some of the last weeks and then jump into the Hal Higdon. IDK.

Thanks everyone. Honestly, I made the hybrid up as I went along and adjusted it to my needs. I followed the TF schedule pretty closely accept I wouldn't do their toning WO. 3 days a week I added the CE workouts, the 3 circuit WOs. Now I'm doing CE by itself with no hybrid. And I'm running along with it. I can't wait to…

http://www.target.com/p/New-Balance-Pearl-Fitness-Heart-Rate-Monitor/-/A-12903488#?lnk=sc_qi_detailbutton That is the HRM I use. I really like it. I had a Polar but I lost the watch part. I don't see a difference between them. I'm an instant gratification girl and this one I could go to the store and buy where as the polar…
