I'm not obese. I'm within the "normal" weight of BMI. I've used endomondo at the same time as my heart rate monitor though and they've been very close (within 20 cals) on runs. Maybe I'm just hoping that I'm burning the higher calorie count.

Fitbit just came out the a gps tracking option to track exercises similar to what endomondo does. So yes, I'm wearing a fitbit but it's really tracking runs by gps on my phone. I ran 5k today in 34 minutes burning 285 calories (According to fitbit). Last week, I ran 10k in an hour and 15 minutes burning 934 calories…

http://www.macheesmo.com/2012/04/breakfast-sandwiches-revisited/ I have these in my freezer now except I made them with mushrooms and green peppers (I only froze the egg part). They're pretty good. Just under 300 calories all together.

Yes, I am aware of that but were comparing naan bread to a pizza crust here. Not a candy bar to an avocado or nuts.

That's good :) Otherwise I would recommend finding out the number for your local distress line (most areas have one) they're probably a better source for community referrals for where you can go in your area. Plus, usually they're available 24/7 if you ever need help.

Psychologists cannot prescribe meds. They are not medical doctors, only psychiatrists.

Where do you find healthy naan? Everyone I see is like 300-400 calories. That's not really saving me anything.

Based on your BDP I would recommend finding a therapist that does either dialectical behaviour therapy or psychodynamic psychotherapy (Psychoanalytic). DBT is often the most recommended therapy to help BPD but psychodynamic psychotherapy has better long term outcomes. *Edit* I'm going to assume that you're not actually…

Good to know that the elliptical doesn't help with the 5k!! I guess I need to suck it up every day at the gym on the treadmill and not let myself get away with the elliptical! Hopefully outside gets better soon :) and great job!!

I'm pretty concerned about my heart rate then... when I'm on the elliptical it pretty much doesn't go below 180 and can easily go up to 190. It doesn't really bug me though. I feel like I'm getting a good work out but not overdoing it. Only when it goes above 190 for a few minutes does it start to bother me.

I agree, depo is one of the worst things I have ever done to my body. Huge weight gain, broke out in the worst acne (I had never had acne before that), I had a headache that lasted pretty much the entire time I was on it and just had to wait for the drugs to get out of my system. Being on this drug made me wildly…

yes, exactly. Saying "it gives me control back" hints at how so many people suffering with EDs are focused on the control they get from limiting there food and it's not just about food. It's about having ANY control within their life because many people don't feel as if they are in control. So ultimately, all they have is…
-
Sorry OP but controlling your food intake (and feeling as if you have some control in your life) is exactly what EDs are all about.

She's pretty good on leash when we get walking at a good pace but if she knows were just out for her to go pee she can be a pain. She tries to bring me to the dog park and gets distracted by ANY people/dogs around her. She will definitely be on a leash. I was considering getting one of those leashes that attaches to my…
