  • When I first started running my heart rate always went up to 190, after a few weeks when I ran it still went up to between 160-170, I have been working out with my heart rate at this level, is this too much?
  • wow that is very interesting, I wish I had watched that episode, I know I only lost half a pound last week and I am sure it was just from general slacking on the weekend, my husband and me are both home and he likes to indulge so I go along with it, usually not as bad but I definitely go over my allotted calories, so that…
  • my favorite breakfast right now, and I am so hooked, is 1 cup of fiber 1 honey clusters, half a cup of blueberries and half a cup of skim milk... I know I should be having some protein in there too, maybe throw some almonds on top? 253 calories, with 1 oz almonds 413 calories
  • You are so right, realizing you had a high calorie day and making sure that every day is not like that is a good start, I know I picked up my socks today and did good  I only lost a half a pound last week, still a loss but my first week I lost 2, I did weigh myself in the morning the first week and in the afternoon…
  • I would love to have someone push me a little, I just finished logging my food for today and it told me if every day was like today I would gain weight in five weeks :noway:
  • actually the products are quite big, at least the skinny cow ice cream sandwiches are, bigger than a regular ice cream sandwich even and so good!
  • wow that is quite the review! I love skinny cow anyway, now I have to try these
  • When I said unbiased I meant the review gives you pros and cons, myself I would say you are much better of to just stick with the goals and calorie counting here, it is helping me immensely just to be able to keep track of your calories so you are aware of what you are eating
  • The site I posted is a review website, not affiliated that I can tell, one of the webmasters tried the diet for a few weeks doing a weekly review of his weight lost and how he found the diet, pros and cons. The links to each week dont work so great so I will post them here:…
  • check this page out, it is a review of the plan, pretty informative and unbiased http://www.reviewboard.com/reviews/kitchen/7955-Skinny-Switch-Secret-Diet-Review-Updated.html
  • Speaking to your doctor before adding any vitamins or supplements is always a good suggestion especially if you take any prescription medicines. I don't know that I agree with dietary supplements being the same as medication, although I would agree herbal supplements are. I do not take any prescription medications but even…
  • I have been taking the one a day weight loss formula, also I take omega 3-6-9 and omega 3 (because I feel the 3 is the most important I take 2000 mg of 3 and 1000 of 3-6-9) I also take coenzyme q10 and glucosomine sulfate, soon I am switching to the kind with chondroitin, (the pharmacist recommended to get used to just the…
  • i havent heard of the weider stepper but my suggestion if it is hard to get outside, much like it is here, an elliptical machine provides a great alternative as well as being good cross training for running, there is no impact so no noise on the floor, burn upwards of 150 cal in 10 minutes, one with 10 levels of resistance…
  • thanks for the warning, I have not tried the peanut butter or trail mix kashi bars, I love the almond one and the cherry chocolate is my favorite!!
  • I always like to do some stretches, then 30-45 minutes of cardio, running or the elliptical are my faves, then my muscles are all warmed up for the weights, after that I finish off with some stretching and some yoga/pilates moves.... my ideal workout :)
  • one thing I read before is that the stability shoes are better, a lot of people think that something with a cushion or gel heel is better because it will take the impact but it is actually the worst thing for your ankles and continuing upward to your knee, hip and back... also try to land flat and steady on your feet…
  • I would also say you are going too fast to start, I started at 5.0, a slow jog, and gradually increased to 5.6 for a comfortable run, pushing myself to do 6.0 for about ten minutes. When I started I ran with the incline set to about 5, later when I wanted to increase my speed I decreased my incline to 1. A trick I learned…
