Any of you using a fitbit? I haven't been logging my runs here since I didn't want them to be counted twice. If you have a fitbit how do you log your runs?

I'm training for a half in Sept. and one in Oct. The first one will be more relaxed with my brother since we do it together every year. I'm going to try and best my PR in the second one but it's half on trail so wet will see.

Lin are you reading clean and doing any other cardio? The cleaner I eat the better results I get. I've also been trying to get at least 10k steps a day which helps with the results. But I think you are getting stronger even if th he scale isn't moving. Keep at it!

Thank you all. Angie and rolemodel I sent you a request! I'm on week 5 this week with s couple extras I missed. I'm trying to run too as I have a couple halfs coming up in a couple weeks. I took yesterday off due to sore knees but got back to it today.

I'm thinking Beta and Gamma will have more upper body. So far I am only on week 4 & there have been some push ups but that is about itfor upper body. I do think my legs are getting enough but I run as well. Maybe you could just mix in a few upper body moves a couple days a week until you get to Beta?

I'm not loving it. I was very excited to try it but it leaves a sugar taste in my mouth that makes me crave more sugar. I haven't noticed any energy changes or anything except when I work out. I think I will go back to my Target brand protein powder.

Part of my problem is I'm supposed to eat 5 meals a day & I don't want to eat the same things 5 times a day. So I'm looking for recipe suggestions. I've found this is harder when eating out for lunch.

Good job ladies! I've done the first month before but then fell off the wagon. :) How have your results been? I'm feeling stronger but not losing weight. I'm not following the diet though so I know I won't lose a ton. I'd like to lose the 8 lbs I'm up since having my son.

I find it hard to believe you would gain muscle that fast. Not that it can't happen but not likely. I would keep lifting lighter weights. I usually gain a little weight at first too but then I lose it. Hang in there.

A full is so much more than two halfs. Halfs are fun. Fulls push your body to it's limits but give you a huge sense of acconplishment. Most people don'tunderstand until they have done it. I wouldn't do it. It's too intense even if you are used to it. I ran half way through my pregnancy until it hurt & 'ran' a half marathon at 12 weeks. Thank you everyone! I'm not trying to starve myself. I just don't know how much to eat. I'm sick of being tired & run down. I was 128-132.5 lbs before my pregnancy so I'm not looking to lose a ton of weight. I just want to tone up & feel good.

I was eating 1610 but bumped it up to 1700. Recently I have just been eating what I feel & not tracking. I'm worried I'm not getting enough. I do have a dr appt Wednesday for blood work just in case. I eat back calories but not all of them on my long run days. With my long runs getting longer I don't always eat that much.

I agree you should eat more & don't worry about weight. At this point you should worry about toning & forget about the scale. I agree 110% with running in good shoes. When I don't run in Kayanos with insoles I'm in pain in weeks. I'll never risk it again. How do you know you can't eat over 1200 calories? It seems like you could be slowing down your weight loss by not eating enough. I won't keep on you about it but if you are still not losing much in a couple weeks you might want to try eating more. You would need to eat over 2000 just to maintain your weight. Eating under…
