Well, if you have another program you could do a hybrid and alternate. Youtube also has some fitness channels you can use: bodyrock is a popular one.

I'm in Elk River. Welcome!!

Fruit is the original fast food: apples, peaches, pears, plums, bananas! If you are willing to put in a little extra work you could also take some time and portion out nuts and veggies in snack baggies that are ready for you to walk by. String cheese is another one I use too.

Virtual *kitten* Kick SENT!! Get off the couch, put up a "before" picture on the fridge, pour out the alcohol and make a new plan.

Not to be a parrot, but it really depends on what you are looking to accomplish. I did P90X first because I really needed to get some muscle mass built; I was all flab. Insanity is intense cardio, but it's coupled with body resistance and requires no equipment which is really nice. I'm actually starting Insanity on April…

If you want to train the way you've been training I say to look at the type of food you are eating, not the amount. Eat higher calorie, healthy foods, nuts, avocado, etc. This may help you maintain the type of exercise you want AND nourish your body. You may also want to look into some type of protein shake or something to…

You would get along well with my husband. He is a smart man too.

Where in MN are you located? I'm just NW of the Twin Cities.

I haven't seen one on here yet.

I run a support group, but it's not on here. I'm willing to run one for Turbo Fire if you all want.
-
I think you are in the right place to get yourself moving!! I love to help people out and also get motivation in return.
-
I love your attitude for life change! I'm almost half-way through my losses and am always looking for people to help AND help keep me motivated!
-
I was going to suggest Turbo Fire as well!!

You may also not be eating enough when you work out. It's a common mistake and easily corrected.

Have you taken any measurements? Measurements are the key!! You are going to see the inches go down before weight when you are working out. Also, it's very normal for you to gain a few pounds when starting a new routine because your body is adjusting. Give your exercise a few weeks before you write it off. You will thank…

I'm always looking to grow my list of buddies if you'd like to add me. I have another 40 + pounds to go.

I'd love to follow your journey - add me!

Weight Watchers focuses on points, not nutrition. Another issue with Weight Watchers is when you get to your goal, you can never leave the program because you will always need to know the points. Calorie counts are always available and MFP will work you into a pattern where it is easy to correlate your choices into your…

1200 is the absolute minimum net calories you should be taking in. Depending on your activity level it could be more. What did MFP set for you and how much are you looking to lose each week?

I have done a 3-day cleanse, used Shakeology, and enjoyed the after effects. I kept the weight off because it is not an all-liquid diet and was not nutrient deficient at the end of the day. It's not something that should be done frequently. Also, this should really be done to help kick start your body, not for weight loss.

You are so welcome! I love helping people - it's one of the things that keeps me focused and inspired. I'm always up for new "buddies" if you'd like to add me. Take care of you!

The best thing you can remember is that you are on a journey - there isn't an ending to this. You will have good days, bad days, good weeks and bad weeks. Focus on where you have come from and where you are going. (1) That bloated feeling is most likely from the pressure you put on your body in the gym if you haven't been…

Have you tried any of the meal planners out there to help you out? They can be really helpful and some of them will even give you the shopping list to go with it! Send me a message if you want some extra help!

I solely workout at home! I'd say that what you need depends on what type of exercise you are looking to do. What were you doing at the gym?
