  • Two totally opposite replies there so far. That's scary to have a quick engagement and then the other person shows their true "dark" colors. I'm sorry! It makes me feel lucky and blessed that my hubby stayed true to how he was when I met him. That's great to hear a long engagement is working out so well too!!!
  • I totally agree, great idea about the topic posting! That makes perfect sense! Between you, me and grammabonnie, I think we can do that!
  • My days aren't quite Monday, Wednesday, Friday, I find it works better in my training plan to do Monday, Thursday, Saturday. Anyway, I did my second test last night and improved! On my first initial test I did 17 regular push ups until I dropped. Last night I did 23! Not a massive improvement, but I'm pretty pleased. But…
  • I'm still here and I appreciate you keeping up on the topic threads! I'm a scatterbrain and forget to log in, I'll try to be better though!!! THANK YOU THOUGH!!!! :flowerforyou:
  • I did them last night too. I am having my 12 year old son do them with me. He totally makes it look easy, but it's good motivation for me. I am way behind, but did Week 2, Day 3 last night. I had to do 16, 17, 14, 14, 20. I think I must have missed something because I know I've done more than six days?! Anyway, I'll stick…
  • I'm not, but good luck! Is it a big race? Lots of people?
  • Thank you, wish i had a better wrist, it's been an issue for years. I'm still on week 2, but man alive, it's a butt kicking deal! I can barely do the max. I have to push myself and to be honest, i haven't really pushed myself over the max. I will try tonight! Actually, I'm doing them right now. One more set then it's MAX…
  • Oops, I was kind of wondering if that's what you meant! ;-)
  • I don't know why I've never seen this one before! I'm always on RW, but only saw the plans you have to pay for. Awesome! THANKS!
  • Sorry to hear that! I'm not doing it, but I'm wicked jealous! I had my first date with my now hubby in Savannah. We were stationed at Fort Stewart at the time. When is the race?
  • Awesome! I'm doing my second in October and am using HH's Intermediate. I'm looking forward to speed work. It really helps with the time!
  • Awesome, congratulations! Such an amazing feeling isn't it?! :-)
  • Wow you guys, great job! My wrist is still sore from Foam Fest, but think i should be okay to jump back on the wagon on Monday!! I'm a full week behind. Way to keep it up guys/ladies!!!
  • Great job keeping up! :-) I'll be doing this later day later. I haven't logged in since Friday! Internet breaks sure are refreshing!
  • Thanks for keeping up on this guys! I took a four day weekend and totally unplugged from the internet. Man it felt great! Good to be back though.
  • Good job everyone! Looks like there aren't as many people who are following through. So if you are still with it, YOU ARE AWESOME!!!
  • Awesome, keep it up my friend!!
  • I wonder if we'll all do a little less before we start to see the numbers get better? It would make sense! We've got to build those muscles up...though you are WAY ahead of most of us!
  • Way to go GrammaBonnie! (And yes, I deleted that topic, no biggie!!) :flowerforyou:
  • Here I am the one who created this and forgot to do them last night. Just did them at work here this morning. Level 1, column 3. Did all reps and maxed out at 10. Whew, I can barely type or write, I'm all shaky now! Day 1 down!
  • Yes, iphone has an app and I just found the app for Droid too. I'll be using that, pretty doggone convenient...no excuses!
  • Good job everyone!!! Hope to see more soon peeps posting soon..... I'll be doing mine this evening!
  • I just did my initial test: 17 regular push ups!
  • Right on! Can't wait to see how you do! I think rewarding is a great word to call this! :flowerforyou:
  • Good question! I think it matters not where you start, so long as we're all doing it on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Whether you are starting on Week 1, 2 or 3 of the PROGRAM, we're still starting week 1 of the CALENDAR. Each day/week, people can post something like this if they want to: LEVEL/COLUMN: (looks like…
  • I'm trying to now. I had a mini-binge last night and actually logged it. As others have said, it's being honest and seeing where you messed up. Plus, keeping your diary open and knowing others are looking at it keeps ya more honest! I didn't use to, only because I would eat such a variety I wouldn't be able to remember all…
  • Wow everyone! I'm so impressed with everyone for even giving it a go!   I'm doing mine this evening so I'll report back later.
  • Yes, I'm bumping myself, lol! BUMP!
  • Good info on here! I only just lost my first pound since starting Insanity this week, the first week of the second month. I like what someone said about upping your calories, but in mostly protein. I still have my ratio set to what it was when I was training for my half marathon. I am going to change it to 40/40/20 and see…
  • Like the others said, month two is hell! I was so beat up the first week plus I had other stuff going on and couldn't do every day, I started the first week of month two again this week. You'll be amazed at your improvement when you get to your second and third fit test. Ha ha, in fact, the first day of the second month…
