General Advice: keep moving. Cutting calories works, but you (or at least, I do) stay more motivated when you can see weight progress and physical prowess progress happen at the same time. And if you have a stinky desk job like me, there's an endorphin feedback loop that makes everything a little brighter. MFP Advice:…

The best part of this whole thing is that Oz used ol' five bites as an example of a horrible effing idea. --the fact that he's bringing it up at all and thus granting it a shade of legitimacy is an entirely different story. See: congressional hearing.

Welcome to the MFP "Oh, Jesus" week. Congrats on paying attention to your food and learning from it.

My reaction image folder thanks you.

...what? No. Do the exercise you enjoy and can keep doing consistently. Exercise to improve your health and not to feed some sense of being the bestest most efficient exerciser ever. While I personally have some questions about the 12 lb thing, I don't know the whole story here so I'll stay away from that. I have seen so…

Overhydration is responsible for one of the nastier afternoons of my life. Drink when you're thirsty.

You have to do the "Opposites Attract" Cleanse, it's the best! You basically ingest a mug of sugar with a drop of coffee in it, and then it all meets up in your body and becomes inert. It's like magic!

Bad address... thought I'd try the html way to see if that worked... it doesn't.

Could be a bunch of things, but if your body isn't used to the exercise, it's probably you're not getting as much oxygen to the brain as normal (since it's needed elsewhere). That gets better with regular exercise/improved vascular system, but my advice would be to pick a good limit, and ease off if you hit that limit.…

Why do I lift? Sweet lats. I can be a hermit and still get a good workout. Filled out shoulders makes my waist look smaller. I CAN OPEN ALL OF THE JARS. Costco run comes inside in one trip. And this is just me, maybe, but it's evened out my weight loss to a steady 1-1.2 lbs/week, instead of the 2 lb, no lbs, 1.3 lbs I was…

Oh yeah. I mean, I was kind of a food snob before, but now I'm turning into one of _those_ people. But hmm, specifically. Bread is a big one. I loved bread. I still love bread. But I get a little fancy bakery bread now and everything else tastes cheap. Pasta, too. I get or make the fresh stuff and eat way less. I used to…

You can do this! I can't remember exactly, but I think it was around week 4 that I had to stop mid interval too. I (like everyone else) slowed my pace down, and I just finished c25k yesterday with no problems from there on out. You're just about halfway! Great job! Somewhere on a c25k forum, someone said you can run a slow…

Stupid fluffy umbrella drink at some resort. 400 calories for some grapefruit-cherry-pineapple-gross headache machine. Ugh.

That feeling when you're back on top again. "I am SO BAD *kitten* I did this not once, but twice! And I'll do it three times if I need to." *sassy bring-it face* But it sounds to me like you're still a little shocked about the price of the toll that taking some time off cost you. Of course it did. Breathe. Accept.…

I'm halfway through week 7 and I've lost 7-8 lbs since I started, but I agree with the above, weight loss is about making sure calories in < calories out. I also do some moderate strength training and I'm pretty diligent about my food, so I'm right on pace with where I planned to be. I started noticing the weight coming…

One time after tequila, I flirted with a loft ladder. Still have a dent in my cheek bone from that one. OP: I guess it depends on the lady, and how intense she's macking. I know when I get a little sauced, I think evvvvveryone is beautiful, and feel the need to tell them so. But, yeah, demanding sexytimes from a stranger…
