That sounds awesome! Have a good time, the 5ks here in Modesto aren't so scenic :/ but I'll travel for a fun activity. I just went to Tahoe for Tough Mudder, going to Sacramento for another run in 2 weeks, and day trips/weekend getaways to the coast, mountains, rivers, trails, etc is my favorite thing to do :)

Thanks everyone :) I know I'm not a perfect vegan and I'm ok with that, but I do like to stick to a plant-based diet as much as possible and keep splurges to a minimum so it's interesting to see how others put things together

Thank you :) Many vegan websites I've seen use a lot of tofu, seitan, or other meat substitutes and I don't really like that stuff so I sometimes have to do a lot of searching.

I've done a few other mud runs but this one will definitely be more difficult...you'd be surprised the things you can do when you just throw yourself into it :) sooo, on the one hand i know i'll survive but i can't help but be nervous of course

Haha yea it can be tough on your center region. My advice is 1) make sure you're set up properly on the bike (ask the instructor to help, it really does make a difference to have your hips and knees in the proper place) 2) use a gel seat cover if you want, I used one when I first started for awhile 3) accept it and…
