  • See a Physio or a Podiatrist as Podiatrists specialize in feet and ankles. I work for four and they see many runners with ankle pain.
  • I don't have many friends and I "like" lots of things they post. I rarely comment on things though. I personally don't have time but I tell them that up front when the FR came in or was sent.
  • Google "tricep toning exercises". There are a lot you can do at home and without weights. Use water bottles instead or even laundry soap bottle. Just find something heavy and lift according to what areas you want to trim/firm up.
  • I work in a doctors office so my day is eight hours a day of just sitting.. maybe a few trips to fax/copy machine but not enough to justify exercise. I make "room" for beer by walking and stationary bike riding, either before or after work... Occasionally, while at work, as I sometimes walk on my lunch break.
  • That's what I do.. I drink every night but I allow for it in my calories, just like I would if I had a steak with baked potato and sour cream. It may not be "food" but it is calories so it has to be counted.

  • My two cents: Elliptical uses different muscles (or uses the same muscles but in a different way) than bicycle riding so they basically aren't comparable. Also, like someone else said, you have outdoor terrain. Any exercise done on a machine is way different than doing the same exercise outside.

  • Thank you! I was talking with a friend who is doing WW and she has 26 points a day but fruit and veggies when raw, canned in water or natural juice have no points. Was wondering how this would apply to MFP. I totally understand now. Two different systems and with MFP, all calories are to be counted.
