Didn't know this group was here! Just finished week 4 day 3 this morning. Really proud that I was able to run the whole 6 minutes without stopping because the previous week 4 workouts were super hard for me! I may re-do this week, but will attempt week 5 day 1 on Wednesday and decide then!

I normally have one of the following: - breakfast burrito (whole wheat wrap filled with scrambeled eggs/salsa/veggies/cheese/ham or bacon/whatever I want to put in it) - cereal + banana + milk - whole wheat english muffin toasted with natural chunky peanut butter + banana - baked oatmeal (www.skinnytaste.com has my…

I just put the brita under the faucet and turn it on really light and walk away for 3 minutes.. fills itself and overflows into sink.. I hate using the brita though. Ever since I moved to a new town that has really hard GROSS water I had to purchase one. I miss tap water.

Cheese (all kinds) Bacon (the thicker the better) Beer (the darker the better) Kraft Dinner (the more orange and mixed with butter the better) Ranch (the more creamier the better) Butter (amazing) Peanut Butter (natural and chunky only) Ice Cream (all kinds)

I use the Fitbit zip for keeping me motivated to move throughout the day. I love it! I use the Polar FT7 to track my workouts. I also love this and have never had any issues with it. Personally, I am a very goal orientated person who loves looking at graphs, numbers, etc. So both of these trackers work very well for how my…

Ooooo! Thanks!

I would join the group saying go ahead and eat the white bread! However, if you are wanting some suggestions of new bread type things to try for your work sandwiches, you could give wraps (tortillas), panini bread or pita bread a try!

I eat about 1695 (and most of my exercise calories back), a little bit above your range, but feel free to add me for ideas if you would like. My diary is open to friends!

If you can fit them into your day calories and you want them, then go ahead! I eat cliff bars as a hiking snack often.

I'll take Wendy's over McDonald's any day!

+1 for Kicking Horse. Three Sisters, Grizzly Claw, Sumatra & Kick *kitten* are all my favourites of theirs. It is local to BC though, not Quebec.

Vodka + water with a squeeze of lime or lemon used to be my go-to drink back in my party days.

You could start by changing your double double to a single single? Then perhaps you could go down from there. I used to get a double double back in the day, but now if I go (mainly because my BF likes the tea - I am not a huge timmies fan) i'll just get 1 milk (2 depending on size). I once thought about stopping drinking…

Thanks everyone. You are all right - this is an investment into my future.. and I need to keep reminding myself of that. I think that maybe I am burnt out from the first semester still and adding in weight loss just put me over the edge! Unfortunately I cannot cut back any courses because I am in a program that requires…

@cheshirecatastrophe Absolutely the most amazing tumbler in the entire galaxy. So say we all.

Making eggs in the microwave sounds really weird to me. I was unaware that this was a common thing to do!

I overcome my cravings by getting some ice cream. Had some eggnog ice cream yesterday! Was on sale from christmas clear out!

mason jars. I will never go back to tupperware after putting my lunch stuff/sauces/salads/soups/leftovers/smoothies/etc/etc/etc in mason jars. Is your leakproof coffee tumbler of jesus by contigo? Those are amazing.

I used to go through this when I was a teenager. I had one so bad that I passed out! I never really figured out what caused them and they eventually went away, so I do not have much to suggest other then the things you have already considered (water, potassium, stretching). However, have you tried having a bath with epsom…

Exactly. Just use less and try different kinds.

You look fantastic! great job!

I remember the first time I decided to weigh my cheese.. I was so shocked.. 30 grams of cheese did not look like what I thought 30 grams of cheese looked like. I did not find an alternative because I love cheese, but I learned my lesson and weight it each time now.
-
I eat cheese every day. I plan to eat cheese every day for as along as I can eat cheese. Everything in moderation :)

I think it may have something to do with all the weight loss "information" out there - television shows (biggest loser), ads, workout DVDs, diets, marketing methods.. most of it suggests to the public that you can't lose weight while eating these things. People tend to believe what they are told unless they are smart or…

You can use iceberg/butter lettuce leaves to wrap stuff. I do enjoy a good chicken peanut satay with rice wrapped in a lettuce wrap, but thats about it. Some of my GF friends/family put their burgers in lettuce leaves too. It makes me cry a little on the inside. I do personally eat bread, buns, bagels, wraps, pasta etc all…

Skinnytaste.com also has some Super Bowl appetizers. The buffalo dip looks delicious.

Very subjective. Everyone will have their own ideas of what constitutes "processed".
