best suggestion is to ignore this poster. Tossing out blanket advice like that is silly and irresponsible on his part. Log your food accurately. Weigh it. Log it. Use the same entries. After 6 weeks, of legit accurate logging, if you're losing weight, do the math and figure out how much you've lost... by how much you've…

based on what? OP gave no info about.. well.. anything. Other than a goal.

So what happens after? nothing wrong with setting goals, but why 15? I've seen folks come and go from here like this where they join MFP after new years, set some kind of time-restriction goal, eat too little, lose weight, freak out, and then gain it all or just stop logging in. Why not set a sustainable long term goal…

suggestion is to start a few months ago and stop looking for quick fixes for beach trips. wanna lose weight? accurately log your food, take at least 6 weeks of CONSISTENT logging, and figure out how much you need to decrease your intake to lose. If you want to "tone" there is no magic to it. You lose weight to uncover the…

nope. If losing weight means living long enough to have skinny cheeks, I'm calling that a win.

again, speak with your healthcare providers. How little sugar? added sugar? carb restriction? net carbs? They will know your history and be able to give you advice that is absolutely designed for you and your medical history. We're all, at best, going to just be giving advice based on OUR experience. If I didn't make it…

no. don't waste any time on any "cleanse" mess. If you're type 2 diabetic, speak with your dr, check and manage blood sugar (and overall a1c) levels, watch your carb intake, measure it accurately (legit accurate weighed logging), stay hydrated, exercise a little if you can. Cleanses will just make you poop water and make…

nope. you didn't.

nope, you didn't gain weight from having a cold. Now just focus on getting well and get back to it. Weight fluctuations are normal.

weigh your food, log it all accurately. do this religiously for 6 weeks minimum. Weigh weekly, same day, same environment, same clothes, whatever. If your weight stays the same, then eat less. If you're weight is trending upwards, eat less. If you're losing, then you're on the right track. Don't over complicate it. Don't…

you're incorrect. I was the original beard guy. others have copied.

-
soooooo are you using a food scale and weighing everything? I mean, literally... everything?
-
a 3 mile run, eggs, potatoes, cheese, and coffee. then beer.
-
no pants. more beer.

this right here is all you need to understand, OP. This. Get a food scale, accurately log your intake, and then adjust slowly and accordingly.

I'll try again. Are you weighing your food and logging everything?
