Hahaha, I love the Le sigh at the end. You sir just won a (sugar free) cookie.

Maybe because some people have the intelligence to delve deeper than "it annoys me!1!1!" and when faced with an opportunity to discuss in greater depth, of course they naturally would. This thread has a lot of body shaming, which is awful (just for the record before the OP replies with "Le sigh", I am not referring to you…

I wouldn't worry too much about the sugar in fruit :) PS I added you!

I'm going to add you, Anyone else, feel free to add me :)

down 38lbs since Jan 14th (when I started). Not noticed a huge difference, but haven't been measuring.

I spent 24 years of my life not caring about what I ate. A little obsession can't be a bad thing at this point :p I wish I wasn't so obsessed though. Like yesterday I decided to treat myself to a takeaway. I had the best option on the menu and stayed under my daily calorie goal and I still felt really guilty afterwards. I…

Birmingham here :D

beautiful, you've done so well :)

I've never tried it and would only if I was having problems losing weight naturally. If you don't mind, I'm going to send you a friend request as we both have similar weight loss goals! (200lb+)

Sandra Bullock. I'm literally in love with her and don't know why.

I played for a year a few years ago. I quit before WotLK came out. I have/had a level 70 (cap at the time) mage. I quit because I didn't like the end game raiding... Couldn't sit and focus for 2-3 hours 2-4 nights a week my guild required! To the poster a few above me... I personally wouldn't let a 10 year old play! Not…

I know it's hard to sit back and watch, but the decision is in her hands. No one can be forced to change their lifestyle. They have to choose themselves to make the change. I know that from experience. I've always been big and have been "put on" diets by my mum/aunt as a kid, and then by a doctor. I've always given up…

While You Were Sleeping. But I fell for Sandra Bullock, not the guy. Oops!

According to MFP, I'm supposed to eat 2260 calories a day. I couldn't possibly eat that much, unless I eat unhealthily so... No, I'm not :p I only found MFP a few days ago and until then I was eating 1100-1200 a day, which I've learned is not good so I've been trying to improve it with proteins to 1600 a day. I feel this…

I'm single and have been for about 2 years. My last boyfriend liked fat girls, he didn't want me to lose any weight and for a while I embraced it. Not good in the long run. Now I'm just trying to focus on me. How selfish :p

THANK YOU! I read the first few pages of that thread (including your original comment) but I had to stop tracking it in the end. People aren't aware of how triggering some comments are. I'm talking any body shaming here... It's just not acceptable (especially on a website dedicated to weight loss) I started my weight loss…

Supermarkets have specialists who design a layout that MAKES you want to buy crap you don't need! Same with junk food packaging. It's easy to give into temptation :( I try and do a lot of my shopping online and get it delivered. If I have to o into a shop I do it after lunch or dinner when I'm not hungry! It's hard to stay…

Hi! I have to lose a hell of a lot more than 100lbs :( I've set a goal to lose 100lbs this year and a long-term goal to get down to 200lbs (and eventually get down to 165lbs, a normal weight for my height) I started at 431 and am now 398. I, too won't be having surgery... but through choice! I don't like the idea of such…

Honestly? I doubt myself at least 10 times a day. In fact, I find myself constantly thinking about food (not in the craving way, more of a worrying way) and weightloss. On one hand I think it's a good thing to think about it, but it does inevitably lead to doubt :(

I've made a list of everything I want to do (that I can't do at my size) There's a surprising amount (because I'm currently the size of a house) Maybe you could do something similar?

You're truly an inspiration! I'm a month and 30lbs into what I'm hoping will be a lifetime change and a 200lb drop in weight, looking at this thread gives me hope that it can be done! Thank you

I personally weigh everything I need to (apart from fruit and obvious things) on my digital scales. I've just made my diary public, but only have 3 days of food in there (that's when I found this app/website!). I have been trying to add more protein! I think I'll try to eat more fruit and maybe a bigger breakfast

I JUST came on to ask a similar question! I'm currently at 400lbs and according to the pp I should be eating 2200+ a day. I've been on this diet for about a month without this website/app and got used to eating big meals with few calories... averaging to about 1100-1200 a day, which I've been informed is no good! I changed…

Sure! I've mainly been filling up on vegetable stir-frys. Abdout 3-4 times a week for dinner On other days I have a portion of carbs (usually a jacket potato) and lots of veg. I usually eat 2 pieces of fruit a day. I'm averaging about 1200 calories a day BUT I'm told this is too low so plan on raising it to about 1600 a…

Don't feel bad :( I started at 431lbs, 30lbs seems a lot in a month but when you think about it in percentages, it's not much at all Now I feel bad for making you feel bad :(

Thanks a lot for your responses. After discovering the website, I've realised I can change the daily calorie goal (don't get this option on the app!) I'm going to set it at 1600 and add more meat/protein, see how that works and readjust from there. Once again, thank you for your replies!

Hi, I'm 24 and just discovered MFP yesterday while browsing the itunes store :D Feel free to add me

Thank you for the response, I'm certainly reconsidering raising my daily intake. I don't get hungry much in between meals (I think I've gotten used to it now) and have been having generous portions of vegetables with meals. I really don't think I feel comfortable with going as high as 2000 though! I might try it one week…
