  • Thank you all...i just wanted to make sure it counted as water intake and not like a soda...so I will count them and becuase I like it I am betting I will get more than my minimums each day. I appreciate the input.
  • Saving for Jace. thanks for all the great info.
  • Crap - I thought this was going to be a post about BACON. That's our name for bacon in my house. I'm now bummed.
  • I'm cheap, so I bought the cheapo one at WalMart...But I don't use it like that...I don't like anything other than a headband/ballcap on my head and that thing puts extra weight in one spot (not alot, Iknow, but it annoys me) anyway, I use a runners belt to hold my phone and keys - so I took the lamp of the headstrap and…
  • Then wear a skirt while you "clean and press."
  • I started running last year - after 42 years of "hating" it. I hated it becuase I wasn't fast - I hated it becuase I didn't look pretty doing it compared to other runners - I hated it becuase I couldn't - I hated it for so many reasons, but I always wanted to like to run so I could/would run...anyway here's what happenend.…
  • I'm in Newton....Lost 70 last year and am working on my last 20...
  • I LOVE Ranch dressing. L.O.V.E. it. But at 140 calories per 2 Tbsp. I can't do it like I'd like. This week I found this recipe on Pinterest and we like it. 1 cup plain greek yogurt (we used AE because it was all the store had, so two small ones were 260 calories) 1/2 cup skim milk (40 calories) 3 Tbsp (1 packet) dry Ranch…
  • I just got a NordicTrack 1750. did a bunch of looking, trying and research and decided this was the one for us. Put the 5 year service warranty on it and got ifit for 2 years. It was right at $1800 for all of that. I am very happy with our decision.
  • I like BodyRock when things are tight - quick and tough workouts that I can usually do in a fairly limited space. They are body weight generally and if they do use a sandbag or whatever, I find a substitute item at home. They work for me.
  • I love "wine-ing" at the holidays! Cheers! I wish all a safe and happy holiday season!
  • i am so sorry for your loss. I know that even today, 5 years since I lost Java, my dobey running mate, that I still miss him on the old trails we used to take. Harley will be with you in your heart on your runs and you'll find yourself enjoying the paths for their memories. Run them sometimes just for Harley.
  • No START is horrible. It's a start and the only place to go from there is somewhere else. You'll get this c25k thing - who cares if you spend 6 weeks on week one. You got everyone who didn't move today beat. Slow down a little, but know eventually "it" will click and you will do it. I was in your shoes in March. The click…
  • Today is so not busted. It has a little crook in it maybe, but it's not busted. What good choices did you make today? (And if you haven't made any yet, then make one now.) Start there and then make another good choice. And another. See today is recoverable.
  • I think this is a HUGE deal. Congrats. You are going faster than those who aren't going at all and your speed is not the important part - the important part is just that you went. Keep going. Before long you'll have more miles and faster times!
  • Pitas, tortillas those are all good...but there is a sprouted bread out there called Ezekiel. I used to eat it all the time (it's hard to find in my area now) and it's pretty good. maybe look into that. It has to be kept in the fridge/freezer, but it's actually pretty good. (And I think there are more than one variety…
  • Thank you all. I knew what the phrase meant, I just wasn't sure how to figure it out...going to change settings now and see what happens.
  • Thanks for the invite you sent earlier. I accepted it and wanted to say hello. I'm still working on loving the program, but I did like it better this morning.
  • I started on Monday and to say I LOVE it would be strong language. I think I will grow to love it. Here's why I say that. It moves really fast and I don't have the moves down. I don't look anything like those people in the video do. they know where to punch and when, and honestly sometimes I just hop or boxer shuffle in…
  • Thank you all so much. That's what I was hoping to hear. I would like to move the Fire 55 to the weekends just due to time constraints during the week.
  • ............It's hard to eat 12,000 calories? This is exactly what I was thinking! give me the icecream and toppings!
  • I use an old air purifier and my cell phone (Sleep as Android has a lullaby function that I like - Fireplace.) I like the phone cuz I have the same white noise when I travel if the hotels don't have air that will run all night.
  • Hey, if you are worried about how much weight you have to lose and think marbles are too big - why not use pennies. It would still be weight in the pocket and could have the same effect? Just a thought if you wanted to figure out how to do this, but didn't want 20 marbles or more. This is a great idea by the way. I have…
  • I have some stevia, but tried it once and used WAY to much. Thanks for the measure equivalent. I am wondering, do you think I could use it in my cocoa? I mean if I did it with cocoa, powder milk and added the stevia for the sweetness...would it work for that? I think I saw it couldn't be used for baking so not sure what it…
  • Nice and you have it everyday now. Keep it up.
  • 100 every 10 minutes that I am working out. That way I can work out 30 minutes or an hour or whatever and still know if I feel like I'm working. That might not be high for some, but for me, that's tough.
  • I can tell you how I did it. I took a one cup measuring cup and counted it as serving. Then honestly, I took one scoop at a time until the pot was empty and figured out that I had that many servings. Once i knew it for that pot, I don't have to do it again. You might also consider a 12 qt stock pot is 48 cups (12x4) and…
