  • I use fruits for this. It helps get my blood sugar back up and fills my stomach so that I'm not feeling entirely hungry.
  • Congratulations!
  • Thank you for the responses. I'm an on-the-go college student and I don't plan my meals. I meet my calorie goal with some distress because I never know what my day will be like, where I'll drive by, what time I'll get home, what time I'll leave home, when I'll have time to do groceries, etc. I just wasn't sure if planning…
  • Then you may want to eat 500 on top of your TDEE 500 calories * 7 days = 3500 extra calories 3500 calories = 1 pound So that's one pound per week

  • You can calculate your TDEE, type in TDEE calculator into Google and enter your info and eat above the number they give you. No you don't need 7000 per day. I'm 5'3 and I gain slowly around 2200 per day. And My TDEE is 1900 calories. Are you going for a pound a week or 1/2 a pound per week? ETA: No nutrition doesn't matter…

  • I'm 5" 3 At first I wanted to be 120 lbs but now that I'm around there, I I want to get to 125 and also considering 130 if I don't like 125. But won't go past 130.

  • I fear that there may be one person out there, who avoids this list for the rest of their life.
  • The weight you gain doesn't only have to be muscle. It can certainly be a combination of muscle and fat. You can definitely exercise, but go light on the cardio or just eat whatever you burn if you don't go light. Weight lifting has been great to me. I think I didn't have to worry about looking unflattering/flabby mostly…
  • I don't see why not. Yes, it's beneficial but body weight squats will only get you so far. Grab some weights if it's one of those challenges that tell you do a million squats that way you can do less squats to save time and maybe even get better results.
  • Try to balance the scale to make sure it starts at 0. Sometimes my scale creeps into starting at 5 or in the other direction giving me an inaccurate number I always have to readjust it. Always use the same scale in case you didn't. Do that as well as change the batteries like the others have said. Also, I used to have…
  • The biggest mistake I made was not going to where I wanted to work and ask them what they're looking for (in terms of certifications). I ended up getting certified but I still couldn't work at this one location because that wasn't the particular certification they were looking for :( I have had difficulties getting jobs in…
  • Naptural85 always has great stuff on her channel and she's in the upper type 4 range. If it's breakage, it might not be hormonal because with my experience, shedding tends to be hormonal and breakage tends to be lack of moisture. For one, I do recommend cutting back on the combing and try finger detangling until you figure…
  • They're probably saying that because the Buy It Now listings tend to cost a couple cents whereas the Auction style listing is usually free. You could try starting it at a very high bid. Or do the Buy It Now or reserve price is a good idea but they may cost you a couple cents to do that. Make sure you agree with the…

  • I did in January. I feel good and "free" but the only cons are that my friends go out without me because the invites were on Facebook. And my friends get married and/or pregnant or die or something and I don't know anything about it. So before you do (if you do), take down all the phone numbers and ways to stay in contact…
  • Sounds like you just have a high bodyfat percentage. I have a small frame, I'm shorter than you and I was underweight at 105. So, go into weight training instead to "tone." All my pudge is gone because of weight training. So stop losing weight, I promise that's not what you need to do to get the look you're going for. You…
  • I make a mean chicken pot pie from scratch... but idk the recipe, I just play it by ear. Also, my buffalo wings drive people crazy because I like it with an extra kick instead of focusing on the buttery flavor
  • http://www.muscleandstrength.com/articles/zig-zag-bulking-approach.html That article is super short but the most helpful one I could find. Also I don't think the Zig Zag Bulk is as amazing as the author makes it sound lol But for me, I hated eating a million calories every single day. Every morning, I always felt like I'd…
  • How many calories are you eating per day? And are you eating back your exercise calories? I would also recommend you look into "heavy lifting" since you are nearing your goal weight. I think protein powder and a vitamin truly is the maximum you should ever spend your money on. The supplement market is really out there to…
  • What makes you think it's a supplement issue? I really don't think you need anymore supplements. Have you considered reevaluating your calorie goal instead of spending more money? If so, provide us with your current height, weight and your current calorie goal.
  • Pilates can still burn a lot of calories. I've also learned that weight lifting burns more calories than I thought. Do you have a HRM so you have an idea as to how many calories you're burning? It helps to log your exercise so that you can eat back your exercise calories and a surplus. When I first started weight training,…
  • I'm 5' 3" and I've gained 15 lbs so far on 2300-2700 calories. Are you exercising at all? (even nervous habits like pacing back and forth for hours used to slow down my progress). I think you should wait a little longer to see some progress just in case. Some of my weight gains took 14 days to happen. Also, double check…
  • Thanks for sharing your story. Congratulations, you look amazing.
  • Ah, okay. I understand now. If it floats your boat... :)
  • Nope, I'm using MFP to gain weight. I successfully gained like 15 lbs and I'm going for another 10ish pounds
  • Did you double check the directions? I bought an iron supplement and the directions said take it twice a day when I was only taking it once. Made a huge difference.
  • Which machine is that? Not trying to put you down but, it might be an overestimation.
  • I live with my mom and $50 worth of groceries can last us about 2 weeks.
  • It's really not worth the money. Don't do that to yourself. The people who are selling it HAVE to really sell it. Don't fall for the stories and the testimonies. Eat "right' and exercise and you'll lose weight AND keep your money.
  • I was diagnosed with acid reflux about 9 years ago at 11 years old. My doctor put me on Prevacid and it worked like a charm. Popped one in the morning and I was good for the entire day/night no matter what I ate. Now? I can't afford it. I don't get so much of the burning feel anymore but my throat closes up and makes it a…
  • Yummy! Switch out the sweet pickles for regular pickles to get a delicious contrast. ETA: sarcasm
