  • Extremely high protein like 300g+ a day can tax your kidney's as they have to filter it, but I doubt you are hitting that much
  • normally just a bit of mayo, mustard. Or if I get th new gold cans that are packed in EVOO I will eat those plain. Back in the day my wife use to take it and add 2 cans to a box of mac and cheese and it was pretty good.
  • Also if you haven't had a high calorie day in a while you will be surprised what it does to your metabolism you might actually see more movement on the scale than you realize.
  • Welcome to the 100 lb club!
  • Another bander here (and if you look at the numbers, they don't lie.) As far as preg increase, my doc advised to use 2 separate methods of birth control because he has 7 new mothers to be in the past couple of months all 40+ years old lol.
  • the sportlines at Walmart don't count calories based on the HRM you take, it uses a built in pedometer + time. So it cannot tell you are walking a very steep incline or doing other exercises it just calculates based on the built in pedometer. Honestly the only thing the sportlines are good for is quick easy cheap access to…
  • Make sure you are getting your protein in, and also look into some Biotin suppliments. Those two things should help with reducing your calories but not losing your hair
  • BMR is how many calories your body burns with brain activity, sleep, breathing, etc. It is with 0 exercise. Theoretically that is how many calories it takes to keep you alive. If you eat less than this you could kick yourself into starvation mode, more than this you would gain weight without adding exercise.
  • This is a free site that I use, it has pictures and videos on each exercise and can help you create a good workout http://www.muscleandstrength.com/
  • I use NFL Training Camp by EA Sports. Lots of different exercises and the 60 day challenge keeps you come back for more.
  • Also don't forget, the "ranges" listed on the machines are for one "type" of person, at one "specific" weight, and one "specific" height. Plus most of the sensors at most gyms are a bit touchy. When I am on the treadmill at my gym about 15 min into the workout it reads my pulse at 205 lol. Best bet is to use the formula…
  • Believe me, it is doable, just eat right and exercise and use all the support you can
  • be real careful with that stuff it has a ton of hidden carbs/sugars. I use to buy it then was floored by all the hidden stuff lol
  • Next time you are at the gym grab one of the 50lb dumbells and drag it over to the scale, a lot of gym scales are not calibrated often if at all and can skew their results. If you don't have a 50lb dumb bell at home take your biggest loser scale to the gym with you and try it as well. It could be you got a bad scale.
  • Go for the blue box, the yellow version was the original BL workout and gets stale very quickly. The BLC (blue box) has a ton more exercises, and actually moves between 4 different locations at the ranch. Also it has Yoga and uses resistance bands whereas the original version did not or rarely did.
  • My Wii Fit requires me to do the daily weigh-in but I just do it and keep my eyes closed lol
  • Heya back if you wanna add me as a friend I had the band in July 2010, and as my weight loss has slowed I decided to come here and track stuff. What they are saying about your low calories is a very big reason for the plateau. Right after I had my band I went full metal exercising and cutting calories. And my weight…
  • My mom is on atkins and adds Crystal Light to Diet Sprite (Sprite Zero). She says it is quite good.
  • From what I have seen a lot of people convert it 15 minutes = 1 mile since it is pretty high intensity
  • Its amazing how quick it can go, I had my surgery in July 2010 and already down over 100. It has really slowed down during the holidays and the cold weather because I can't exercise the way I was, but I feel like spring will be here soon and still using my Wii to try and help coax the pounds off lol. Good luck and you can…
  • Same way I do it too
