I totally agree with Jorean. There are so many options. Drop what isn't working, and find something you like. It is out there! The point is some enjoyable activity that elevates your heart-rate for an extended period of time. Have fun with it. I am absolutely certain you can.

True, did a short work-out this morning. TNP needs to drink more water.

Based on the original post, I am wondering if you are drinking tap water, or if not, what kind of water? The flavor or water can vary considerably. For instance, I dislike the taste of Dasani, which is Coca-cola's engineered version of mineral water. I love the flavor of Evian, a natural light mineral water. There are all…

First of all, I know this must hurt a lot, sometimes life is WAY too hard. As hard as it is to hear now, you are absolutely better off without this guy. He just doesn't really love you. He has made this loud and clear. Based on what you have posted, he has said some VERY hurtful things to you that someone who truly loved…

All three of those are fine. Bikes are a lot like cars. You need to be ready to buy, then you just put them on the road. Based upon what you can and want to afford, buy the one you like the best. Seriously, the road test is key.

When it comes to dieting, the past is the past. No one can do a thing about what you ate yesterday. There is just no sense in beating yourself up over it. Take the diet one day at a time, and do the best you can. You might try the Japanese philosophy on this: Small steps lead to top of tall mountain... Just try to make…

Enlighten me, iuilamad. Why?

Congraulations! Thanks for posting! You look terrific.

Frozen yogurt is good, but healthier? I really don't think so, but there are some things in its favor. First off, they both have about the same amount of sugar, unless you are referring to the artificially sweetened varieties, and let's just not go there.... Frozen yogurt will have less lactose in it, so it would certainly…

I'm feeling the pain of restarting my exercise, so I can relate. My sides are full of lactate, and they are stinging. It's my fault for laying off so long. Keep at it, exercise works, and it gets better with time. I know from experience that my aches and pains will be replace with feels of energy and pleasing muscle tone.…

Wii Fit Plus is better. It adds some good additional exercises, mostly balance stuff, but some fun aerobics too. I wish it had some added yoga and strength exercises too, but it doesn't. For me, the biggest improvement is the My Routine feature. You can combine any of the yoga and strength exercises, and as many of them as…

Raw fruits and vegetables are the way to go here, almost all low calorie, and the nutrient density is generally high. Carrots are a bit high in sugars actually, and you get a lot more of their beta-carotene when they are cooked. They wouldn't be a first choice here for me, but they are okay. I suspect you really have to…

I am highly educated and very cerebral, so it is difficult to turn my brain off. However, when I am doing yoga and strength exercises, I do find I need to concentrate on what I am doing. If I start letting my mind wander too much, that's when I lose my balance, or lift improperly and injure myself. Now, when I am doing…

I have been a heartburn sufferer nearly all my life, but it has come and gone. It was rarely a problem during my 20s and 30s. I would have described myself as having an iron stomach then as well, could eat pretty much anything, and did, with little or no trouble. I spent most of my adult life drinking coffee, but as I have…
