That Burn

Greetings,

Getting back into my work-outs after a long and stupid lay-off. Of course, I am feeling that familiar aching/burning in my muscles. I am wondering what folks think about this. Is it a necessary component of getting healthier? more toned? more muscle bulk/strength? None of the above?

I dont think it's necessary, but I personally love the burn. I feel like it tells me I got a good workout, and the best way to make it stop is to work out again.
Im sure you can get in shape without working your muscles to fatigue regularly though.
