Following this - about to be 39 and my situation is similar to cpall31. Even 4 years ago losing 80+ lbs was so easy! Now, losing even 1-2 lbs with every single effort is impossible!

T1d here!

I’m very sorry to hear this! I had lost 80 and kept it off for 3 years! But this last year was hard and I’ve put 25 lbs back on - feel free to add me

T1 here as well!!

I'm in the exact same boat that you are in! Exactly. Any advice is much appreciated !

I am 36 and diagnosed T1 a month ago. I have been eating healthy for the past two years. And the carbs I relied on (which we good carbs and limited to 80-120 a day!) aren't working for me. It's super frustrating :(. And bad for keeping the weight off.

Thank you everyone for your advice and help. Been almost two weeks and feel like I finally have something dialed in right!

Thank you so much for this. It's been almost two weeks and just by making that change its really helped a lot. Also factoring my macros into this and now just 'eating my calories' and really focusing on front loading and back load carbs into my workout for energy. Thank you so much.

Thanks a lot!! Yeah, the low carb thing is gonna be my best bet I'm finding but always leaves me hungry as hell the end of the day. And then I eat like a horse. It's been bad the last week. I need to definitely tweek the macros. I keep up with my 3-4 hour in between meal times and of course my water. I have a hectic work…

Work strength training into your cardio? From what I understand, the calorie burn of lifting far surpasses the calorie burn of cardio. Cardio, the burn is pretty much just then and there. The strength training burn will continue to burn....

What facility do you work out in?

I definitely think it's worth it (especially if you have no previous knowledge ). I myself had previous knowledge but still used one. It was the best (albeit most expensive) decision I ever made! I learned new things I didn't know and it springboarded my loving to lift. Not to be scared to do my own thing and try new…

All that you guys said. Thank you all so very much. Very helpful. Also, the 'train and eat' part. Gotta change my mentality. Thanks!

Good luck! I have been using MFP as an app only for the past 2 years. I was going to do WW online myself but decided to give these forums a try and so far so good. I am trying to get back to the weight I lost last year. I feel your pain. Add me if you want. I could sure use the motivation from peers.
