  • I am doing The PINK Method as well as tracking calories. I notice that the foods I eat matter just as much as the calories I eat. Such as, eating 1280 calories of pizza doesn't react on the scale the same way as 1280 calories of good, nutritious food. You still drop weight, but the better I stick to The PINK Method, the…

  • The only thing that counts as water is unsweetened herbal tea and water. Not coffee. Not soda. Not crystal light (fake sugars, stay far, far away!!). Just the UNsweetened herbal tea and water. Nothing else counts as water.

  • Actually, for every soda you drink, you need to drink an EXTRA water. Soda does NOT count as water. Soda DEHYDRATES you.
  • I say NO! Aspartame is NOT a friendly fake sugar. If you're going to drink a soda, drink it with real sugar instead of fake sugar (like the throwback drinks). Then again, I am also against reduced-fat, reduced-calorie, etc foods like "fat free sour cream" and others. If you need a flavored drink with no calories, get some…

  • I am surprised at the lack of compassion from a bunch of people who are here for the same reason - you got fat, so did she. Why are you being so harsh against her. Lighten up and some some basic human decency and stop judging!

  • Personally, what I don't like about WW is that, despite saying they recommend that you stay away from reduced fat/calorie foods, their cookbooks are FILLED with them. I rarely like anything that has been altered to be less fat/fewer calories. I don't prefer chemicals over real food. I even buy the only bread in the store…
  • WholeDanFamily - I appreciate your comments! It's also known as the Military Diet as it's commonly used to drop weight quickly before a weigh-in in the military. I am just starting this, as I need a boost right now - mostly in confidence to continue. Sometimes it's about a plateau or a confidence booster or fitting into an…
  • I looked over your food diary. It's a lot of protein and/or junk food! Where are your fruits and veggies!! Those should be your staples!! Protein is good, but you can harm your body with too much protein. I'm also currently at a bit more of a plateau than I'm comfortable with. However, due to a family emergency kind of…
