I used my crockpot overnight - last night. I made homemade chicken broth. I had roasted a whole chicken for dinner. So, I put the bones, celery, carrots, onion, thyme, and a bay leaf - covered with water overnight for 8 hours. So yummy!

Mine usually consist of some sort of greens mixed (spinach, spring mix, romainne) cucumbers, tomatoes, sweet bell peppers, sunflower seeds, and chicken. Now I love to chop my salad. To me it just tastes better. Use and dressing you like. If it is a taco or fajita salad. I use romainne and iceberg, shredded sharp cheddar…

LOL, meant to quote the previous one asking about a cycling class.

Well, yes you could probably get the same calories burn. But for me I need the motivation. I don't really push myself enough. I find that if I am in a group setting I push myself more. I think people do what works for them. Signing up for a gym just doesn't work for me, because I can't motivate myself to go workout alone.…

Thanks for the feedback. I am going to sign up for the unlimited. They are opening one by me mid January, so I am getting a good pre opening price! :)

OMG - OP this is exactly how I feel. I am 5'6" and currently weight 165 lbs. I need to lose at least 20 lbs. I have never been heavy until the last 3 years (quit smoking). Anyway, I look at pictures and I look so fat. Then I look in the mirror and I don't think I look anything like my pictures. It is so weird. Someone sent…

If you can't afford a good sports bra - then wear two cheap sports bras. I wear Under Armour or Juno. They are a God send. They are about $50 each, and totally worth it. Walking is always good exercise. Kettle bells would work too, or any type of strength training. Use resistant bands. Tons of stuff you can do.

I quit smoking 3 years ago. I smoked since my teenage years (quit when I was 40). I still think about smoking. Even have smoker dreams every once in awhile. However, it was soo difficult for me to quit that I don't think I will ever go back. But, I am just one cigarette away from smoking a pack a day. I know I can't smoke…

I made taco soup last night. I used fire roasted diced tomoatoes, green chilis, jalapenos, can of rotel, can of corn (no salt added on all of these), and then I used lean ground sirloin. You can add beans or chicken/turkey. Also, another go to of mine is fairly simple. It is a breakfast quiche, but I eat it for lunch too.…

I am fixing homemade chicken noodle soup. I made the broth the other day, so I just have to dump everything in and heat! YUMMY!

Oh, I forgot to credit where I got the recipe. I got it from Trisha Yearwood.

Great job! Keep up the good work!

Knowing we have to weigh in and be accountable really helped me this week. Did it help anyone else stay focused?

I am not a big chicken pot pie fan, but my son and husband eat those frozen things. I will give this a try. I always keep left over dark/white meat from roasted chickens so this is easy to toss together.

It is really good. I have used brown rice or white. Either works!

YUMMY!

I would recommend wrapping some russet potatoes in foil and putting them on the bottom. Then lay the Chicken on top. Add onion (cut into 1/4 thickness), carrots (baby or cut in chunks a whole one), and celery. Add those ingredients around the Chicken. Throw a bay leaf in the cavity of the chicken. Salt/Pepper over the…

Add some sea salt on after cooking? Mine always taste good without adding anything. I just buy the frozen kind and microwave according to directions.

The stuffed pepper soup looks amazing! Lots of good ideas here. I like soups because I can get veggies in that I normally won't eat. They all blend together and it works great!
-
Nice! I will see what I can do!

How is everyone doing this morning! I went ahead and did my measurements this morning, so I could track those as well! Hope everyone has a great week! Stay on track!

Please add me!

Ok, I am in. I will weigh in tomorrow.

Well this just sounds amazing! I would have never thought about beer and worcestershire sauce. Do you use a dark beer or light?

I make a breakfast quiche and it lasts throughout the week. In a Pie pan add shredded frozen hash browns. About 3 ounces (just cover the bottom and sides) Bake at 425 for 25 minutes While that is bakings chop up some veggies or any kind of meat you want. I like onions, jalapenos, sweet bell peppers. Then shred some sharp…

I did not like brown rice either, and I didn't want to add chicken broth. So, now I cook my brown rice and I put some siracha on it! YUMMY and spicy!

Also, maybe start a group - it would work better to check in. :)
