  • I can so relate to you. I've been an emotional eater I believe my whole life. Even as a child I remember sneaking food to eat when no one was around.
  • I know this is a month late, but I just joined the group. I'm not sure how you can post a new discussion on the blog. Anyway, if you find out how to stop emotional eating please let me know. I even went to a health coach for emotional eating. It helped some. It was a lot of negative feelings from just my childhood. Or…

  • Are you getting enough protein? Maybe if you added a little bit more for during the day you would not chow down at night? Are you hungry...or is it emotional eating? I have the problem of emotional eating. Do you have an exercise ball? If you do, how about making a game with the kids before bed time. You sit on the ball,…

  • Thanks...I had the same question!
  • I know how you feel. I thought I was doing so well, and gained weight. I almost gave up...thinking it was not worth it. I am so glad I did not give up. I pushed even harder the next week, and I lost 3 pounds. I know it is so frustrating. :drinker: Drink lots of water.

  • Everyone wrote excellent replies...I have to keep them all in mind when I just am so tired and want to quit. But you have done so well...DON'T QUITE!!!! Set small goals each day. Drinking 8 8oz glasses of water. Take a walk around the block. Keep it simple. Jo
  • Good for you!!!! I get so tired of making different meals. I just want to scream! You are doing it the right, smart and healthly way. Sometimes our spouses/friends/family don't like changes even when it is good for us. Keep strong and keep writing instead of eating. It helps. Jo
  • Thanks.
  • Tonight I did not feel like logging my food, because I know I went over. But then I thought...log it...otherwise you will stop all together. Not sure what made me look on the message board. But I am glad I did. Nice to know I'm not the only one struggling.
  • I joined about 5 days ago. I love the site. I have not been in any of the chat rooms, but starting that now. It is an eye opener to see how much calories and fat some items have in it. I have so much weight to loose that I keep forgetting it is a one day at a time. I just want it all off now.
