Hey are you on the 30 pound tribe? 30 pounds in 90 days? I joined last week.......didn't I see you there?0

Are you getting enough protein? Maybe if you added a little bit more for during the day you would not chow down at night? Are you hungry...or is it emotional eating? I have the problem of emotional eating. Do you have an exercise ball? If you do, how about making a game with the kids before bed time. You sit on the ball, lean back hold one leg up and have the kids throw a ball to you and you throw it back. Keep your balance with that one foot up as sitting on the ball. Then switch. I don't have any kids, so I might not be much help.

And make sure you are eating enough fat, too. Balance.
Here is a good challenge thread, they have had this running for months, you may even want to go back and read past months for motivation and successful coping methods.

I do have the ball and will do that with my kids. I have stuff yoga tapes, aerobic dance tapes, tai chi, life fitness bike, treadmill, weights, pool and anti-gravity table etc...Just the eating part is so much of my back slide. I lost on deployment because all I did was work-out on my off time and ate at the chow hall. I came home in 7 months fit and trim then gained it back when I had to cook, clean and care for the kids so I am still adjusting plus retiring...I love you idea thanks for the good tip0

I have a stationary bike and I ride that. I have several exercise dvd's. I get bored very easily. Do you?0

Yea this stuff is collecting dust more then sweat. The bike seat makes my butt hurt. I do use the treadmill I love that while watching the news. I use the situp stretcher thing and the weights. Those I do a regular rountine of at least a jog or walk for 30 min to sometimes over an hour then 100 situps..I started with 1-2 situps after having each of my kids then build back up. Then 3 sets of leg extensions, and benches or pull downs. In all it takes about 45 min for all but I break it up to care for kids, rides to school etc...I just put a pool in after 28 years in the military I felt I earned it...SO I am just getitng into swimming. Workouts are motivated but decreasing weight, increasing muscle and eating more calories, and most of all lower my blood pressure and improve my cholesterol numbers. The inside of your body is why I exercise for my kids. I am a happier mom when I stay in shape then to get big agian. I weighed about 220 lbs after kids but prior was about 140 lb now I am back to 156 and planning to get down to 125-130 lbs. Hope this site can motivate me to cut down on the food....
Hope that helps...How do you curb your appitite?0
