  • I'm on my 3rd week of Contrave. I haven't experienced any side effects yet. I have gone from 240 lbs to 233 lbs since I started two weeks ago with no change in exercise regimen. My doctor had me decrease my calorie intake from 2050 to 1500. This could also be a reason for my loss.

  • Almonds, a clementine, a Granny Smith apple with almond butter, red seedless grapes, pitted cherries, string cheese and yoplait light yogurt are a few of my favorite snacks to munch on while at work or out and about running errands.
  • I've got 57 more lbs to lose before reaching my goal. I set small goals in between and will treat myself to a new workout outfit or something like that as I reach them. Feel free to add me if you need motivation! Good luck!
  • You have every right to be happy! I love GW! I've found many gems there after sifting through the racks. It's smart to buy affordable clothes because you will soon outgrow them as you continue to lose. I am no stranger to the " New to Me" philosophy. Congratulations!
  • I would treat myself to maybe 3-4 moderately priced outfits. $500 is an awful lot to spend on clothes of even the best quality. I agree that Target has a great selection and I've gotten some gems at my local GW stores as well. I understand wanting to go all out, but you may decide to lose more upon reaching your first goal.
