I recently switched to a stand up workstation for postural reasons however, I will take the added calorie burn (40 additional calories versus sitting) per hour. If you stand for 7 hours that is 280 calories and I am increasing circulation and bettering my posture too!

NO IT IS NOT! NEVER EVER!!! Give your head a shake...you have 3 children so do not starve yourself or prescribe to such an UNHEALTHY and potentially DEADLY way of life. Read about anorexia and the problems associated with it.

I can't stop at just one cookie so I stopped eating them. One the days that I try to tell myself that I can have just one...I never do. You are a work in progress....fall 7 times, get back up 8! Just don't make it a habit and you have no reason to carry the guilt around. A little indulgence once in a while won't hurt.

Totally unhealthy and it will only come back on. I have seen people actually gain weight by not eating enough when your body goes into starvation mode. I HIGHLY recommend NOT dropping below 1300. Look at the group Eat More to Weigh Less instead. VERY educational.

If you are having trouble eating larger meals, eat small portions 6-8 times per day....and you need to at least double what you are eating. Your body is in starvation mode...you might even start to gain weight....I did. You should also consult with a dietician and doctor.

I have a hard time supporting people who aren't eating enough and that would include most of the 1200 calorie people who workout. It isn't healthy.

I do this too...its called Sunday Supper Soup. I throw in whatever leftover meat from our Sunday supper and then slam it with all kinds of veggies. It serves as my lunch for the rest of the week...double win!
