Personal preference. I'm usually not hungry when I wake up. I force myself to eat something before going to the gym because I can't workout fasted, but if I don't go to the gym my energy levels are perfectly fine till noon. And I'm losing weight.

Unless you are very very short, you might be at your ideal weight. If you don't like the way you look start weight lifting and improve your body composition.

Abstinence didn't work for me because it made me think about food all the time and binge, something I had NEVER done before. I ended up gaining weight instead of losing it. My food scale's battery died yesterday and I replaced it today. I don't have another scale so I eyeballed for one day, no big deal.
