Before pic, 30 day pic and 60 day pic. Lost 27 lbs. Tracked with mfp, stayed within my calories and worked out 5 days a week, 1-2 (sometimes 3) hours a day. Plus I got a spray tan at the end. As soon as I hit my goal last year, I lost sight of the ball and put it back on. I know how to get it off. Once I get there again, I…

I felt tired for about 3 weeks or so. Maybe less. Then I started having more energy, not less. Moving is easier, climbing stairs is easier.

I'm hoping you mean caloric deficit, and not caloric "defecate". Evacuate the dance floor!!!

Another really good way to lose weight is to come here and preach. Folks will take bites out of your backside.

Yep. July 23rd, I quit smoking and started dieting. I think it's a great combo actually. Either of them is going to be an adjustment. Might as well do both at the same time. Also, you'll be so focused on your health, that not smoking will make you feel better quicker. You won't feel like you're just halfway doing it.…

"there" body? how about "their" brains.

***like!***

Oh yeah, my DH has the perfect amount of chest hair. No back hair either. What really turns me off is a bald chest, with less than ten hairs. Looks like something out of a Dr. Suess book.

You're a doll!! look at you! So beautiful, job very well done!!

Here is why you will learn to like it. It won't always feel like it feels right now. As you keep going, your muscles will get stronger. It won't be as hard on your body to do it. You won't keep running into that feeling that you need to quit. If you can't do a full sit up today, keep trying. One day, you'll just come up.…

Def agree, amazeballs!!

Had to wait an hour and a half for the final scene, but it was worth it! Love watching that back tat move.

I love your writing style. I agree eating healthy is more expensive. For me, a bigger problem has been convenience and lack of planning. But I also think that with good planning, costs can be brought down so they aren't as much. Good luck in your weight loss!

Good luck to you! Hope you make it! Won't that be a great gift to yourself? I'm hoping for some changes too.

Skinny Pop popcorn at Costco. Tastes so good! 34 cals a cup I think.

I love that you used the word "overtly".

Uh yeah, apparently I did. But I picked up 75 new super cool friends today, who I am so excited to be inspired by, and who I hope to help cheer on too. That's really what this post was about.
-
So you won't be my friend, but you came back to give me a link to read? That is TOTALLY motivating! Thank you!
-
To all the many people who friended me today, and who had very kind things to say off of this forum, thank you. I hope to motivate you also. :)

I don't know how much a cartoon cat should weigh, so I can't be sure if you have less to lose than me or not. I'm a human. Unless.... that's not really a pic of you.

Thank you! I've never been really huge, so I haven't had to deal with the discrimination from being overweight. I've never been ridiculed because of it. Nobody has ever called me fat. So, I'm not really a pro at losing weight. Admittedly, 2.5 lbs. a week may not work. But what really blows my mind is how seemingly…

Worse things have happened. :)

31 days in a month = 4.43 weeks 10 lbs. divided by 4.43 weeks = 2.25 lbs. a week I would not say having a goal of losing 2.25 lbs. a week is enough to warrant total *kitten* responses from overeager keyboard thumpers. Weight loss at a rate of 1 to 2 lbs. a week is considered safe by most reputable sources. What am I doing…

Desperation is right. I want to lose 10 lbs./month all the way through the end of the year. I'll take any help I can get! :)

I'm bumping myself. "I need you, like the flower needs the rain, you know I need you." I am not always as serious as my pic looks.

Before and after pics with tats are my favorite! So telling when you see the tats move and get darker. Great job! Looks like you worked hard.

Beautiful!!! You look amazing! Job well done!
