i cheat once or twice a week and usually go over about 400 to 700 calories. i usually just eat more food instead of sweets. sweets make me feel tired, etc..

are you working out at gym or using free weights? need to build up muscles ie biceps, chest, upper back...also abdominal! :smile:

I definitely believe in eating what you want within the caloric goal...but i find cutting out the sweets is the best way!!!! instead of sweets i'll eat peanut butter, almonds, oatmeal or fruit. if i have one little snickers bar ...that's not going to do it...i'll want more. when i stay off the sweets i feel better and…

welcome! you can do it! really you can. if you look at all the others who have done or are doing it...if they can you can. it takes a start/a few steps...then making it a habit. it becomes fun/like a game. being active really really helps...start off with walking and then go from there. but honestly...i've done this before…

have you tried everything else? i just worry about these meds. what about more nuts and beans?more protein. more walking. no sugar, no white flour. adding some weights to work outs. i just care.:)

you can do it. once you get started it gets easier. you will feel better and the stomach shrinks, i think...cause i got to where i couldn't eat as much at one sitting. this calorie counting does work. i do1200 calories net but i'm shorter and small bone.(i'm middle-aged:) )I feel good...don't feel like i need more…

just takes time and patience. I've done monitoring calories in and exercise before and believe it to be the best way to lose weight/get in shape. staying away from the sweets and big portions helps a lot.
