  • I've just sent invites to a few more of you! The more the merrier! So far I'm really struggling to make healthier food choices... But I know I'll get there! And I added 500 cals to my target, so I won't have issues with milk supply.
  • Thanks for the great idea lemur_lady! That way if diet starts effecting supply I have a backup plan :)
  • I read about those lactation cookies. A bit pricy.... But do they work?
  • I had trouble with milk supply after my c-section and was prescribed domperidone. That really helped get things going, and I've been generally ok since. I hope that drinking plenty of fluids will keep things in check.
  • Thanks everyone for the positive responses. I've added a bunch of you already. Hoping to at least fit back into my old bathing suits and clothes by cottage season :) I can't live in leggings forever (although I am super comfortable!)
  • My little one is 2 1/2 months old. I just sent you a request :)
  • I cut it out completely, except on special occasions. So much easier to stay under my daily calorie limit buy cutting out the 100 calorie glass of wine. So I suppose it did help me loose weight faster. But I have to admit I do miss it. It was my way of unwinding after a long day at the office.
  • My fave snack is half an apple sliced up in thin wedges dipped in Kraft whipped peanut butter (2tbs)
  • I started up on this site last August to get ready for my own wedding. I'm just a month and a half away, and 5 lbs to go!! I've found this site, and everyone's support super helpful. Hope you'll have just as positive an experience.
  • Someone wishing to keep a thread on the list of main forums—or bring an old thread back to it—will post a reply to it purely to do this. Posters who are open about this simply write the word "bump".
  • I live in Canada, so I'm no stranger to seeing a lot of snow, and yes I am tired of it. Sure shoveling snow burns lots of calories, but it isn't everyday that you need to shovel. The constant grey skies & cold wind are a downer, and I look forward to the sunny weather when I'm generally more active. If you like, feel free…
  • I've done the weight loss thing before. I find that it's pretty easy to lose the first 10-15 lbs, then it takes a little longer to register more weight loss. In general, if you have less then 30lbs to lose, it does take more work. But remember, it's not all in vain. Longer doesn't mean impossible
  • [82414] I agree with this as well. I find that the calories burnt are about 100 less then what MFP suggests, so I manually key in what I actually burnt. [/quote]

  • The first part of your day always seems on the light side, and you're eating a heavier dinner. Try balancing out your meals so that you're eating about the same cals each meal. I always aim for 500 a meal. Try eating a banana with your morning shake, or a granola bar. For lunch you could eat two sandwiches and still be…
  • If you want to add me as a friend you can see mine. I've been trying to stay away from wine lately... but you'll see that on weekends I sometimes like to indulge ;o) I eat roughtly 1500 cals a day, but that's only because I make sure I hit the gym almost everyday. I'm set at 1200 as well.
