I was gifted a fitbit flex for Christmas and am looking for friends to help keep me motivated. :) https://www.fitbit.com/user/4224DR

Ah. Duh! Thanks.

In American 5.7 mmol/l is a little over 100 mg/dl.. You're pretty much dead at 18. Counting carbs and ensuring your protein and fats are sufficient is helpful in managing blood glucose levels. A food diary, where you also track glucose levels in response to your consumption, is an invaluable tool in leaning what works best…

Go with MFP. 1200 is too low..especially for a nursing mother. It should be a slow and steady process. You didn't gain overnight. You shouldn't expect to lose quickly.

Hahaha. How true this is. I've yet to work with a charismatic, smooth talker, in the lab. and as I scientist myself, I also have trouble speaking to people.

This reminded me of the time some dude from high school said "you look great since you lost weight. Too bad your boobs are small now." ..some people are socially awkward. I am, for sure. Some are just jerks..like dude from high school. I wasn't there so I can't tell which you've encountered. But yay..you're pretty!

I generally eat about half. If I'm hungrier, I eat more. If I'm not hungry and don't feel I pushed myself enough to earn the calories the app and hrm calculated, I might not eat any back or very few. I've lost 27lbs since October (more before using MFP).

I also feel extra warm when I have more weight on..except for my hands. My hands are always cold.
-
Same here. I'm currently sitting in a hoodie with a blanket and still cold. I'll be exercising soon. That should warm me up.

I enjoy fritattas..which is more egg. I breathe i'm hungry dot com has one with spinach, sausage, and feta that is really good..even reheated. There are keto pancake recipes out there. I also like oopsie bread with a sausage patty and cheese. Chia pudding is another..and it's prepared the night before. I have to throw the…

If you don't have a medical condition, you don't have to worry about it. Plus..fruit carbs and bread carbs are still both carbs. If they're making you feel crappy..eat some protein and fat with your carbs. If they're not..keep eating what works for you. Also..as someone said, not all fruits are high gi.

A giant rose on my right side..because..dark tower.

my trigger macro (I would never call it that but for the sake of this thread I will), is carbohydrate. If I eat a higher percentage than my current 5-9%, I need to eat in order to correct the subsequent low blood glucose levels. I crave carbs after. The cravings are insane. There are extreme feelings of hunger. I feel I…

I feel like my stomach is a bottomless pit when I eat high a higher percentage of carbs. I'm currently at 5% carb; when I get around 15%, I could eat all day and not feel full. I have a medical condition, though. My hypoglycemia causes extreme hunger and carb cravings when my blood glucose drops too low. I feel like I need…

I thought it was peeps.

Mine does. I can physically feel when I'm ovulating, too. Cramps and sore breasts twice a month.
-
You're right! I'm such a meanie! ..edited to fix language

Just continue to keep track of calories to make sure you're in a deficit. Weight fluctuations happen..a lot. I apparently gained four pounds last week. I had started strength training. I'm eating within my calories so I'm chalking it up to fluctuations. I also gain a few pounds during ovulation and menstruation that always…

Only if you read it as rude. Maybe you shouldn't expect the worst in people? It's not physically possible to lose 1.5lbs of fat in two days.
-
Mine has gone down from c to b.
-
In two days? No.
-
What? Because he gained 2lbs you think that means he gained 5lbs of fat?? That's not how this works.
-
Calorie burns calculated can be off by quite a bit. Maybe try not eating all of your exercise calories back.
-
I second the bridges, hip thrusters, and kickbacks. I noticed I need to do bridges before squats and lunges. My glutes don't engage as much if I don't.
-
How are you sure you're in a deficit? Do you weigh and measure your food? Cico works for everyone. Were you not exercising before?
-
I like the lemon and coconut!! My SO hates those two. More for me!
-
Pb&j!! 10g of fat..4g net carbs. Mmm.
-
Is your supply established? If you and your baby are doing well, it should be fine to calorie count. Just pay attention and look for any signs that supply might be becoming an issue. I didn't eat at a deficit while nursing and still had supply issues that needed to be addressed. Everyone is different. I would give yourself…
