  • Depending on how bad it was I would make sure you're taking a multivitamin if you're not and make sure you're taking vitamin D if you're not. If you're already doing those things and you still feel this way then first you do need to talk to your doctor about it and if you think it's the way of eating that's changed it and…
  • When I make it I mix it all together but the oats and fruit. Then the liquid mixture I do with a 2:1 ratio to the oats. Then I add fruits if that one has fruits. I use regular old fashioned oats. I make 6 days at a time usually.
  • I.take vit D. I noticed a huge change in my feelings of depression or just wanting to lay around and do nothing. Vit b12 as well affects your mood swings. Dr told me to take that because levels were low. Metformin affects vit b absorption so that was my problem. He said fish oil or fat would help with vit d absorption so…
  • Metformin can block b12 absorption
  • I lost 50 lbs in 6 months. was working out 4 times a week before I was off of my blood pressure meds. I took my blood pressure reader with me and logged my readings several times a day including during and after workouts so I could present to my doctor what they were.
  • I had them for years and couldn't find a medication to control them. After being diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure I had to take steps to lose weight and be healthier because I wanted to be off the medication. My magnesium levels and potassium levels were very low and sugars/blood pressure very high. After…
  • I try to keep mine under 50 or around that and I'm not hungry and I've lost 55 lbs so far. My dr suggested this to lose weight quickly as a newly diagnosed diabetic and to keep under 75 permanently once the weight is gone. My A1C has gone from almost 9 down to 6. There are times I miss some carbs but I didn't realize how…
  • I put a spoonful of it in my oatmeal every morning. I've found that extra protein and an iron supplement I have to take because of my blood counts led to a problem in the bathroom that a spoonful of that everyday takes care of. also, my cholesterol and blood pressure have gone down since I've started this.
  • because I was recently diagnosed with diabetes I have been avoiding carbs...so I would have ice cream with syrup and whipped cream, so much fudge, biscuits and gravy, potatoes and gravy...anything with gravy! mac and cheese. stuffing. and then a yummy fruit ambrosia for dessert ;)
  • I used to have 2 head ache free days a week tops. I went on a dr prescribed diet a month ago because I was diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure and he really wanted to get it under control quickly and in that month I have had 2 headaches that lasted a day each. I do feel mine were caused by spikes in blood sugar…
  • I am currently on appetite suppressants myself, under my dr's supervision. I had dangerously high blood sugars and blood pressure so he does have me on a strict vlcd (very low calorie diet) for 12 weeks at which point we will look at meal planning to continue weight loss but at 35 I don't know how to eat correctly. I don't…
  • same here and it is frustrating but i'm not going to stop. i cannot see a move in the scale that i want. the inches are not coming off as quick as i would like but...it's only been a few weeks. i've been eating at or slightly under my calories for almost a month. working out consistantly for 2-3 weeks. but last week when i…
  • Did w2d2 this morning. Felt good. My calf was tight the whole time but finally loosened up during my cool down. I'll have to do extra stretches going forward. I'm on vacation the next week but that should make it easier to do w2d3 on saturday and w3d1 on monday. another runner this morning clapped for me, man that rocked.…
  • i'm down 2 inches in my hips and 1 inch in my waist

  • get it girl!
