I love BJJ. Great workouts and it's fun!

I agree with all the other posters. It's hella expensive, tastes blah, and isn't all that great for you. Make your own protein shakes at home. Honestly, a high quality multi and a premier protein ready to go shake will give you the same nutrition for way less price and tastes way better.

I, and my doctor, would disagree. I was horribly overweight, and I lost over 200lbs, but I'm still someone with a large frame. I'm 6'6", 265lbs, with a 14% BF (according to my BodPod test last week). So, yeah, I have a large frame, and I actually have very dense bones (powerlifting will do that to you).

Feel free to add me. I log in daily and have well over 100 pounds to go, but I'm over 50 down as of today!

Depends on your needs, but typically carbs are low-ish, protein and fat are high. Paleo is more about quality... so, protein from quality meats, fats from avacado, nuts, etc., and carbs from veggies and fruits.

Flying. I hate it. I'm 6'6", so flying is never really enjoyable, even when I was in super great shape. Now, however, it's horrible and I avoid it whenever possible.

Not if you wear shin pads/guards.

I did for many years, got hurt, then moved. I'm actually trying out schools in my area right now to get back into it. Hopefully I'll have a home gym in the next week or so.

I'm usually pretty boring. I stop by the grovery store on my way home from work and pick up whatever cut of meat (fish, fowl, beef, pork, whatever) is on sale. I go home, throw a little Himalayan Sea Salt on it and put it in the over. While that's cooking I grab a bag of frozen veggies, steam them up, throw some grassfed…

6'6" with over 100 lbs I'd like to lose...

Diet: It was right in front of me. Exercise: I'm too tired after working all day (or I'm too tired from the day before to get up and workout before work)

Feel free to add me. I'm on here daily...

I am 6'6", so everyone is short to me. I'd say, for most people, women would be 5'9" and men would be 6'0".

I actually did one of her kettlebell DVD's yesterday with my wife, and it kicked my *kitten*. I only did it once, so far, but I was breathing heavy and sweating profusely by the end.

Having three co-workers (who don't know about my struggles) tell me that my face looks thinner, and having to put a new hole in my belt.

I agree with what was said by the first person who responded. I weighed as much as 475 lbs at my heaviest. I dropped all the way down to 303 lbs in 1 year through a strict 1800 K/Cal daily diet and hours of intense exercise daily. However, once I went back to a "normal" existence (eating around 2500 K/Cal daily) and…

It's basically super lean muscle meat. You want to cook it super slow, like the other poster said. I usually slow roast mine, then just cut it up into slices. If you have a grinder, you can grind it with some fattier meats (pork is awesome for this) and make some delicious burgers.

This group still active? I'd be down with getting in some exercise. I usually just walk along the beach road.
