I have started buying carrots already cleaned and ready to eat. I actually bought them for my dog as a treat but i put them out with dip and the kids gobble them up. If it is easy to make and ready they will eat it. I give a choice with what fruit they want and they always get 100% fruit juice. This is not optional…

Green peppers in my homemade pasta sauce and had some in my wrap as well... walked for 20 minutes in the sunshine as i got off the bus a stop early.. :) Hip hop abs to complete your challenge. Thanks for keeping me motivated. I am loving checking to see what the next challenge will be..

I love popcorn and crave sweets. Someone on mfp told me about microwave popcorn with a tablespoon of semi sweet chocolate chips thrown in and shaken. Is messy but wonderfully good.

Well welcome to MFP. I like yourself found myself needing to lose at least 89lbs. To be honest I would like to lose another 20lbs after but I could not mentally fathom needing to lose over 100lbs. It seemed unreachable. Some days even 89lbs seems like that but I started with 20lbs segments. I came to terms with the first…

Well welcome to MFP.. I started in January of this year and absolutely love this site. When I explain that I log my food intake in everyday, people say that sounds like a lot of work but it is more then that. I honestly didn't know how many calories I was putting into my body everyday. I had Tim Horton s muffin one morning…

HI there, I have been on here since January as well. I am doing very well but I have a lot of weight to lose. Try not to get discouraged. Eat as many vegetables as you want during the day. This will help to feel full. I found having oatmeal for breakfast with some fruit in it, helps stay full until my morning snack, Eat…

You are exactly where I was by week three. On that week I was starting to lose the feeling of wanting to do this. I have 89lbs to lose and yes I feel I will never there. I typed out a blog on MFP and basically talked myself back into refocusing. I had gained 3lbs back that week and since I hadn't lost a lot of weight by…

Why not think about depo privera. The needle that lasts for three months and see how you feel. I had great results with that kind of BC. I wasnt allowed to continue it after I turned forty and thought about Merina. I opted for just getting my tubes tied instead as having more children was not something I wanted.

I haven't joined a gym. No interested in that in the least. I live in Canada so right now we are just starting to lose the winter snow. I love the outdoors fishing and camping and such. I downloaded several different types of workouts and pick and choice what I am in the mood for. Zumba is fun and brings out the dancing…

I have been working hard and I have lost almost 20lbs in two months. I have a lot of weight to lose though. I had to change my eating habits completely. I love MFP for having a simple system available to log food daily. It keeps me on track. I'll be honest... I hate working out. The support system here makes me want to…

Nope me either, was doing the Biggest loser Wii 12 week challenge but was really bored. Switched to Zumba and Tae Bo to get my heart rate up. It works for me...

Welcome. I am glad you joined MFP.. Your daughter is doing fabulous and is a great inspiration...

I just started Zumba a week ago and I'm still getting use to the steps. It is a fun way to burn calories and get some bounce in your step.
-
I have it and have used it for a month. I find I would rather do a variety of workouts so I don't get bored. Great for core exercises but not so great for cardio. I switched to Tae Bo and Zumba to get really pumped up.

I saw an allergist who recommended not eating celery before working out as they have an effect on the severity of the asthma attack. I'm already allergic to celery so this is not a problem for me. He said asthmatics should just stay away from celery all together. As for working out... take it at your pace only. Be safe.…
