Happy to report that Chester has been found! The pound called while we were handing out flyers! Thank you to everyone who re-posted the flyer - I know my cousins really appreciate your efforts. It's been mind blowing. They're so happy to have their puppy home! This thread can be locked :)

Alright thanks all! Still missing - going to hand out more flyers today. I'm really hoping he's at the pound. It takes about 4 days to process each animal so maybe he was dropped off already
-
Thanks all. The search party/flyer handing out will be starting again tonight. Will keep ya posted! I just hope he turns up. Even if it's at the pound or humane society. I hope somebody has him

It's a pdf, so if you opened it and it says Lost Dog, you should be good to go

http://www.keepandshare.com/doc/5473541/lost-dog-pdf-51k?da=y It should just take you straight to the PDF file.. Sorry, I don't have an actual poster handy! Thanks for all the help! We really want to find him.

You look great! So close to your goal!

I made these, and I'm pretty decent in the kitchen.... they didn't look like the picture at ALL (fine, no biggie) but they are crumbly and not very good at ALL. Def could have used SOME flour or something to hold them together better. Will not make these again.
-
BUMP. Going to try these this evening and review on my blog
-
What makes them so bad? Bland? I figure with all that sweetner it should be good? Hmm. I'm gonna make them tonight and review on my blog.

Have you considered seeing a nutritionist/dietician for advice vs. people on the internet? I don't want to be rude, but so many people on MFP "know everything" and honestly, very few are accurate with their info

It's not always about what works. If you're pumping your body with synthetic chemicals and proteins and the like, that's your own business. Just because it works, doesn't mean it's healthy. That's all.

Let them lash out. If they're too stupid to read all sides/angles on their fav product, then that's their problem. When you buy a car, you look at the reviews. Safety ratings, fuel consumption, etc. Why don't we take the same exact care when it comes to the "diet" we're following. BBV, Herbal Magic, Dukan Diet, 17 Day…

Go with what's on their website. I'm not sure where you live, but in Canada, a 6" Sweet Onion with no cheese on whole wheat is about 280 cals,
-
I think people get so caught up in the "I'm gonna be skinny" thing, that they fail to look at the health costs. I'm guilty of this too. I was on Herbal Magic for awhile, and sure, I lost weight, but looking at what I was "allowed" to eat? I bet I barely ate 1000-1100 cals a day. AND I WASNT ALLOWED TO EXERCISE.

I also have mine at 50/25/25 as set to me by an old trainer I once had. Works well for me!
-
Absolutely there's a difference!! You look great!
-
You looks so happy! Congrats! And I think it's awesome your boss/co-workers are there to keep you on track too with their support!
-
Great job girl! You look GREAT! WOW! 3 months? I can't wait to see you at 6months!
-
Wow! You are just GLOWING with pride! Wow! Great job!

I can agree with this. But if you're wanting to avoid them, buy Mrs. Dash Lemon pepper. I find it interesting that people say soy sauce & parm cheese - but both are totally loaded with sodium.
-
Bikram is full of poses that compress your liver, kidney, etc in order to help them detox :)
-
Maybe...I'll wait a few days, to see uh, what happens. haha
-
I really don't think it's the Bikram that's making them "sickly thin". It's gotta be diet (or lack there of as well).
-
I agree. I'm going to take some measurements and keep at it and go from there. Thanks! I'm also in the middle of a challenge, so by the end of it, I'll have been going for 45 days...I think I've only missed 4 days so far? I LOVE IT!! I crave it every day!
-
My weekend was NOT a good food weekend at all, so it could be carrying over from Sat/Sun. :) Good point!
-
I wondered if it was water retention, but I literally drink 160oz of water EVERY DAY. That's not a typo. If I'm not at work or at yoga, I swear I'm in the bathroom haha. I know I'm hydrated. And I try to keep my sodium around 1500mg. (usually closer to 2000mg) I didn't do measurements, but I did notice my clothes are…

What I SHOULD do is buy a HRM and figure it out, because I feel like I work REALLY hard in class! *shrug* I'm definitely losing inches, so I must be balancing out my diet/exercise somehow!
-
Here's a link to the calculator I was using: http://www.bikram-yoga-noosa-australia.com/weight-loss-and-yoga.htm
-
Interesting, because online calculators would say otherwise! I've seen them say that you burn about 1000 calories in a 90minute class. I'll keep an eye on it though :)

I've been reading that with a reasonable diet and consistent Bikram you can lose weight. Has anyone done it yet? I find that after practice, I'm too relaxed to go out and hit the treadmill or the weights. I might have to start making it happen though, because I don't feel like I'm losing...that being said, I told myself I…
