Our lights went out tonight after about 150 trick-or-treaters when we ran out of candy. We still had one or two doorbell rings, but we either didn't answer, or flat out told them we were out. I know this is an old thread but I still feel the need to say this: You also have to remember that while you are losing fat, you are gaining muscle. So it's actually common and a good thing to gain instead of lose, or stay the same. Keep an eye on your inches more than the scale. You're just getting stronger. :)

^That's a fantastic loss! I hope I get to say that soon. :) After my first month, I've lost 1.5 lbs (almost entirely fat, according to my circuit coach) and 3.25 inches!

^That's what it seems like to me. I started mine yesterday, and it certainly kept me aware of what I was doing and how hard I was working. I wore high heels for the first time to a wedding last weekend. :) I've never been able to wear them before because the strain on my feet was too much.

Ugh, so true. The last time I was measured at a professional shop, I was a 36 F. Those bras are not easy on the wallet, although it's totally worth it to be rid of the neck/shoulder pain.

Went to my first bootcamp at Curves last night! Today my butt feels thoroughly kicked! It's going to be hard to walk to class today, I think haha.

I noticed another change last night; something that I wouldn't have expected out of exercise. When I was playing guitar last night, I noticed that my upbeat strumming has improved greatly with the strength I'm gaining in my arms. What a great, unexpected perk!

I've only done 7 workouts at Curves (well, I guess 10 if you count my free week) but I can already feel tightening in my thighs, bum, hips/obliques, and pecs. Plus, I feel like I'm addicted to exercise! I want to go every single day.

I'm 24 and 5' even, and right now I'm aiming for 130. It's been so long since I was anywhere near that number, and I have no idea where my comfort level will be. But I feel like 130 is a good number to aim for right now.

I actually (am ebarrassed to admit) forgot that I joined this group for a little while. But I recently joined Curves and the money that I'm paying is definitely motivation to workout and get those pounds off! hahaha

I just joined today, so I hope I'm not too late! Starting/current weight is 192 lbs. I'm hoping to lose at least 30 by Christmas, maybe even a little more! The last time I lost weight I lost about 10 lbs a month, so I hope that will hold up for a little while (though I know it's not likely haha)

Height isn't a big deal to me at all. My boyfriend is probably just under 6', but one of the most attractive men I know is about 5'4 or so.

I'm 5 even. My short term goal is about 160 (from 196) and my longterm is around 120-130 I guess. My long term weight isn't as important to me as being decently strong and toned.

I started the treadmill version about a week and a half ago. I go on vacation in a week, but I'm hoping to carry on through it, since I'll be going on a cruise and my boat has a gym. Good luck everyone!
