Looking for someone with similar stats and goals as me! Age: 24 5'2" HW: 136 lbs CW: 134 lbs GW: 110-115 lbs (not too worried about the exact number, but just feeling better about myself!) My fitness goals are mostly to get better at strength training and eating healthier. I had been wondering for so long why cardio alone…

I love all of this! I had been struggling with getting in shape because I am TERRIBLE at cardio, which I thought for a long time was the only way to get thin. I'm glad that people are trying to educate women to strength train. Does anyone have a beginning strength training routine/schedule?? I need to get started, but I…

What almost everyone else said! Supplement the running with pushups, sit ups, weight training, yoga/pilates, and maybe even switch what type of cardio you do 1 or 2 days of the week-- just so you don't hit a plateau. Great job on getting into running though! I'm trying to do that!

Even if you think you're eating enough and working out, your body can react in the weirdest ways.. One of my friends damaged tore a tendon/ligament/something in her hip because she was dancing (ballet.. hard on the hips) a lot and not eating enough.. but she had arthroscopic surgery and is fine. I'm not saying you're not…

I used to have this problem (in fact, I wish I still had your problem!) But like everyone said: Eat more.. Work out less. Some foods that might help: peanut butter, milk, and hard boiled eggs! I eat those before or after work outs, and they add some calories without me feeling gross. And I think taking one day off a week…

I'm hoping that if I go swimming, snorkeling, run around and just relax that I'll at least stay the same weight.

Thanks for the advice! I've decided to eat less carbs everyday until the cruise.. and I'll just have to make myself eat slowly and stay calm when I see all of the food in the dining rooms-- the food isn't gonna run away, and I'll have 7 days! And great ideas in regard to the drinks. I was planning on limiting myself to one…

I'm 5'1 and 130. I have a goal weight of 115/110, and then once I get there I will see how I feel. I lost a lot of weight about a year ago because I was going through a hard time, and went down to 115.. but it wasn't a healthy way to lose weight! (I didn't look bad though!) This time I want to lose that weight steadily and…

According to the website I need to try the low-fat diet! I think I can handle that. haha April 10th sounds good too! And I wont be able to exercise TOO much at first either, because I'm so busy with school and performances. We can do this!
-
I'm definitely interested! I'd like more info on the DNA diet though! Is it just low carb or does it depend on the person? We can be diet buddies!
-
Is it too late for me to join in!? I haven't eaten fast food yet this april, so maybe I can make it into not eating out at all. I always find that when I don't eat out I eat less calories.

I want to start!! I just did it online yesterday, and my legs and arms are killing me! Is anyone going to do other work outs with this , or just this?

I have heard that it should be close to 220- your age. So if you're 20, your elevated heart rate should be sort of close to 200. I think that as long as he doesn't have chest pain, lightheadedness, or shortness of breath, he'll be fine, though. If that happens when he is running though, he should go talk to his doctor.…

I really want to do it!! I actually just bought it offline, and I can't wait to start!
